Yosemite National Park, California

Virgin rating

The hotel

In a hillside woodland setting close to the entrance to Yosemite National Park, Rush Creek Lodge offers warm, friendly service and a wealth of activities. You can hire a bike, enjoy a yoga class, relax by the pool or play a game of bumper pool! Enjoy the fresh California cuisine at the lodge’s two restaurants — both with al fresco seating for the warmer days. Choose between the rustic yet stylish Restaurant with its wood-burning oven and open kitchen, or the more casual Tavern with its big screen TVs, signature cocktails and evening music. There's also daily activities, from wildlife talks and kids crafts to beer tasting - and the lodge's nightly tradition of complimentary s'mores by the fire pit.

Lovely room. Delicious food. Warm, competent staff all around. Great spa. Best playground for kids. S'mores each night. Just a lovely experience all around. Stayed at Rush and Tanaya on my stay at Yosemite. Rush is so vastly superior with better, friendlier staff. Better food. Better room. The better choice.

Overall would recommend this hotel as it’s located just outside the park and it’s decor and room style is very in keeping with the lodge style (if that is what you are looking for). Most of the staff were engaging except for the bloke at checkout who basically just took key off me! Recognise staff shortage but disappointed not to have any room… Read more

Most of the staff were engaging except for the bloke at checkout who basically just took key off me! Recognise staff shortage but disappointed not to have any room cleaning during our stay. Pool area and hot tub nice welcome after a day in park. Restaurant food was good but pricey. Use of laundry room was a real help. Read less

We stayed in a two bedroom hillside villa, which had beautiful views from our balcony. The rooms and the property were clean and well appointed. We had all that we needed. Wifi was also easily accessible from everywhere on the property. There is so much to do at Rush Creek. The adults were able to play and relax while the kids played games (indoors and outdoors), enjoyed the pool, made and ate s'mores and were provided the freedom (and safety) to explore. The property is gorgeous. There is a creek that runs through the property that makes for a sweet walk from the rooms to the main lodge and pool areas. We also walked the trails behind the property which were easily accessible from the property. We intend to stay at Rush Creek Lodge when we return to Yosemite! Read less

We just returned from a 4 day stay at Rush Creek. Our family of 10, ranging in age from 3 to 82, built memories to last a lifetime. We swam and relaxed by the pool. We were pampered in the Spa. We toured breathtaking sites with guides who felt like life-long friends by the end. We ate tasty meals at a big table that seated all of us. We… Read more

We loved relaxing by the pool after spending a day in Yosemite. We enjoyed to be able to use the pool and hot tub late into the evening, followed with s'mores by the fire. This definitely topped all the hotels we stayed in during our 4 week road trip through Cali. THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF MEMBERS!!!! Read less
