But this room was bizarre. It was recently remodeled in a somewhat haphazard. The television was hung so that it was at a diagonal angle, and much worse, the shower door was hung backwards so that it could not be opened because it was blocked by the shower head. On a weekend with temps in the 80s, we could not take showers! Read less

We were greeted by Benjamin with a smile and warm spirit. He ensured that our bags were taken care of and understood the valet process. Diego was also super helpful with garage services. Olivia checks us in and explained the Amex Platinum perks and other offered amenities. We were assigned 2206, which has a street view and view of the lake. It… Read more

Olivia checks us in and explained the Amex Platinum perks and other offered amenities. We were assigned 2206, which has a street view and view of the lake. It was quiet, well stocked, and clean. There is no personal fridge —- keep this in mind if you have leftovers from dining out, locally. The Garrett popcorn upon arrival was a beautiful touch and the welcome card. In-room dining was prompt, food was well prepared and served nicely with host service. We would definitely return to the Fairmont. Another note—- GPS sometimes direct you to the lower level. Just keep continuing around and up the ramp —- hotel is on the right. Read less

Lovely hotel in a great location with excellent views. Steven (Stephen?) was very helpful, friendly and accommodating at check-in, which I greatly appreciated. We made a bit of a mistake while booking and he saved it from becoming a negative experience. My only real complaint is that many of the amenities require membership or extra fees, and if… Read more

We made a bit of a mistake while booking and he saved it from becoming a negative experience. My only real complaint is that many of the amenities require membership or extra fees, and if you don't spring for them, you end up getting less than you would at a less-expensive hotel. I was a little disappointed that there's no complimentary breakfast in particular, but to be fair, that was an oversight on my part and not something they ever claimed they'd provide Read less

The newly renovated Fairmont Gold rooms are really nice. Soundproofing was great and beds very comfortable. Breakfast in the lounge was good quality - smoked salmon, yogurt, fresh fruit, hot options. Can get water/soft drinks all day, self serve honor bar, canapes late afternoon a good way to buy the kids some time before dinner. The staff in… Read more
