Lackluster experience, Virgin was once elevated and innovative. This hotel was a disappointment compared to a stay at Virgin San Francisco. It feels old and irrelevant, more low brow than high-class. The coffee and breakfast options were uninteresting, the decor and appearance inside and out felt dated and unloved. The hotel bar, coffee bar and restaurant options felt sad and empty due to poor service, upkeep and a menu that was lacking in imagination or interest. Read less

My husband and I stayed here in September and had a wonderful time! Our experience was elevated even before we arrived. Know Agent, Elina, emailed before our stay to see if we had any favorite food and drinks, I let her know our favorites. She also asked if we were celebrating anything, and I let her know my husband's birthday was coming up. Upon arrival in the room there was a welcome note from Elina along with cold brew coffee, sparkling water, and snacks! Shortly after arrival, cake and a birthday card was delivered. This set the best tone for our stay, it means a lot when hotels go above and beyond. Thank you Elina! The hotel location was great, close to Riverwalk and walking distance to lots of restaurants/bars. We enjoyed the hotel coffee shop as well as the in house restaurant Miss Ricky's for dinner one night. A couple times during our stay we went up to the Cerise rooftop bar for some tasty cocktails. We had a Grand Chamber King suite, it was definitely worth paying a little extra to have the suite. It wasn't much extra spend and we really liked having a separate living/dining and bedroom area. The in room mini bar and snacks were reasonably priced compared to many other hotels we've stayed at. If you plan on staying at a Virgin property, make sure you sign up for 'The Know', their free rewards program. It's one of the best I've seen. The savings are significant and the extra perks are wonderful. Can't wait to stay at our next Virgin stay! Read less

D'Andre was a great help in bringing our bags to our room. We liked the view and the various amenities in the room including the chocolates at night and the efficient layout. The front desk staff was very helpful and courteous. Thank you again for a great stay at your hotel!
