In the little alcove , one would assume it been a hotel I could get proper food but no! I went to bed starving, also the bus!!! It does not go to grace land and every time we asked we were told bus was unavailable EVERYTIME that is for 5 days! So we walked to Beale street, FYI the area is not safe to walk it it is very quite and a lot of people hanging around begging are very aggressive, our bedroom was a nightmare air on in constant cold room was freezing and the bathroom was the same as the button didn’t work to turn off air on also reported to reception with nothing done, the room it’s self was dirty there were pencil pears left in bathroom and dust along the tv and the counter top, our room faces the wonderful motor way that never ever stopped windows have to be only single glazing , noise was awful, would not recommend this hotel , Read less

Stayed here for a week. One of the elevators was not operational. Would have been ok but the stairwell doesn’t lead to the lobby so you HAVE to take it. It was a comedy of errors daily with overcrowded, slow elevator service. The parking is in the basement and the only way to access the hotel is by walking up the same ramp the cars use! And it wasn’t well lit nor clean. I had to get my key card remade three times. There are plenty of hotels that allow access via a phone app which is so much easier. This wouldn’t have been nearly as annoying had the elevator service been faster. But getting up to the room only to have to find the key not operable was no fun. Housekeeping was daily which was refreshing HOWEVER, one day they made the bed and never cleaned the bathroom or switched my towels. One day even after requesting housekeeping they never showed. The hotel looks like it’s in a great location but I still took a ride share to access downtown. It’s pretty dark at night and although I never felt unsafe I was traveling alone. I did see people walking downtown. The staff were very nice. Only reason this hotel got a star at all. Read less

Where do I even start-this dump is overpriced and raggedy. Liquid in the elevator that could have caused someone to slip and fall. Accessing their hotel parking garage was a whole other experience and it cost $22 a day! That's crazy that they charge guests to park. I could go on but why? I do not recommend this hotel.

Not a great hotel and I wouldn’t stay here again. All the carpets looked dirty and one was being cleaned in the lobby while I was sitting there and you could literally see how dirty it was by the part that had been done. All the carpets looked dirty and one was being cleaned in the lobby while I was sitting there and you could literally see how dirty it was by the part that had been done. Still no air conditioning in the lobby area but large fans working do want to bad, glad it wasn’t as hot as the summer months though. Only one lift working so has to wait ages at times to get to and from my room on the 7th floor. The fire alarm went off at 4am so we had to evacuate the hotel, stuff outside for an hour while the 9 fire trucks that turned up checked the hotel. After being given the all clear we were allowed in after an hour but the person on duty didn’t know how to switch the alarm off and the lift doesn’t work while it is going. The main fire chiefs remark to us was “she hasn’t got a clue” which is quite worrying. After a further 1/2 hour we eventually had to climb that stairs to go back to our room but the alarm stopped while we were making our way up. A dated hotel that has a shower curtain rather than a screen, the bed was comfortable though. It is also a bit out of the way but does provide a shuttle service to Beale Street and other local areas. All the drivers were super helpful and were the only good thing about the hotel. I wouldn’t stay here again. Read less

We also could not close the room door on closer inspection it was off its hinges. The engineer said he could not fix the problems and we were moved to room 626. This was in a better condition although the wardrobe doors were falling off (which we reported). After partially unpacking we went down to the bar or drinks and snacks to be told it would be closing shortly at around 9.30Pm (it closed around this time every evening). We asked several questions at reception about the surrounding area, location bars etc but the staff were not very helpful or knowledgeable. Eventually we found our own way around and discovered the hotel is located a painfully long way from bars etc at approx 9 blocks from bars and 11 blocks away from the infamous Beale Street. Read less
