Image of the Tripadvisor rating Dump. Stay next door at the Garden Inn.

Dingy room, loud AC and musty smell, rude staff, no AC in hallways, paint peeling in the room. This property is tired and mismanaged. The Garden Inn next door is a much better choice. Don’t stay at this property. There also isn’t a safe in the room if you care. I’ve been Hilton Diamond, Gold now, and this place is a few steps above a Super 8.

The amenities in the room, cleanliness etc was fine however thehe bathroom, although it had a shower above the bath, the enamel on the bath was flaking away in parts. There was no safe in the room, but on enquiries at the desk, there are safes available for use at no cost, just ask at the desk. Read less

I have been in Memphis for about a week for work. This hotel is very convenient to lots if stuff in Memphis, easy walking distance. The people at the front desk were amazingly helpful, breakfast dinner and beer in the King& Union were also very good. The people at the front desk were amazingly helpful, breakfast dinner and beer in the King& Union were also very good. I picked a room 401 with a view across the street to Autozone park but found I had to close the curtains all the way to keep the bright park signs from keeping me awake. I didn’t need it this trip but they seem to have efficient valet parking. I had to extend my stay twice due to Amtrak cancelling my reserved trains and the hotel was very accommodating do I could stay in the same room. I will stay here again on my next work trip to Memphis. Read less

The stay sadly started with a rude blond receptionist, couldn’t be bothered to look up. Room ok, but no safe. Called the receptionist and was told no rooms had a safe… Wanted to buy some water from the reception and used a dollar coin and she questioned that it wasn’t an American currency until her colleague said it was. No apology. Felt like a… Read more

Called the receptionist and was told no rooms had a safe… Wanted to buy some water from the reception and used a dollar coin and she questioned that it wasn’t an American currency until her colleague said it was. No apology. Felt like a criminal. We asked the maid to clean our room, but not done, then had to ask for clean towels, sadly from the same girl. Waited 30 minutes then had to call again. Fortunately a guy responded and was great. Breakfast ok, hotel well located. . Read less

Saturday in the hotel previously when it was a Crowne Plaza. Not much has changed. The staff are really pleasant, the rooms are clean although the bathrooms could do with an upgrade. Location is great, walking distance to everything and the restaurant/bar was fine. A cautionary word, the valet parking is a bit chaotic and you wait a while for your car. Ours was damaged but as we could not prove it (should have taken photos before they took it away) nothing was done. Read less
