Stayed in an upgraded Hilton Honors Suite. What an absolute disappointment. Even with every light on the room was incredibly dark. The hall light kept flickering on and off. The bathroom was so old and gross almost felt dirtier after my shower. Had an odd layout with two showers. The toilet leaked every time the toilet flushed. The hotel… Read more

The bathroom was so old and gross almost felt dirtier after my shower. Had an odd layout with two showers. The toilet leaked every time the toilet flushed. The hotel restaurant Friday’s was dirty, horrible service. I stay in hotels well over a 100 nights a year for business, never have I been so repulsed with a room. Checked out after 1st night and went to another hotel for the remainder of my stay. Read less

The location of this hotel in downtown Memphis is good however it is located on the corner of two very busy streets, which are used for cruising almost 24 hours a day and there is also a football (soccer) stadium opposite . On an evening cars and motorbikes sit at the traffic lights outside, roving their engines and spinning their wheel before blasting off with little or no suppression on their exhausts. This can go on until 4-5 am.We stayed oin a room overlooking the traffic lights and the famous Union Avenue, the windows were old timber framed and single glazed, therefore we got little sleep those nights. The hotel restaurant is a TGI Fridays, serving up the usual TGIF fare. Read less

If it wasn't for their cookies you would think you were at a Doubletree hotel. Customer service is nonexistent there. No one will help you to offload your car nor take your luggage in. Staff will stand there watching you do that yourself. Housekeeping also a hit and miss. Our room wasn't made up after the first night we had to ask twice to have it done (8pm when it happened). Nowhere near the previous experience we had in Florida. Staff in Memphis seemed not to care about guests or enjoy their jobs, they don't care about tips, they cant even pretend to do so. The hotel is old and dated but i didn't mind that, rooms are still comfortable enough. Read less

The good thing about this hotel is it’s location within walking distance to Beale Street and National Civil Rights Museum but that’s about it. Our room was in desperate need of renovation, the ceiling tiles when you walk through the door were badly stained and coming loose, curtains would not open or close, walls were very grubby and marked and we… Read more

Our room was in desperate need of renovation, the ceiling tiles when you walk through the door were badly stained and coming loose, curtains would not open or close, walls were very grubby and marked and we kept our shoes on to walk on the carpet. The bed was comfy though and shower worked well. Read less

We stayed here for one night as part of our road trip around the Deep South! The room was very large but slightly dated. Bathroom all worked fine, and the beds were comfy.
