Before my husband and I commenced on our April 2019 wedding preparations, we would have never guessed that Graceland would have been our wedding destination. My husband and I are from Rhode Island and upon arriving at the Guest House we were made to feel like family by Kelly and her amazing staff. When we arrived we were graciously upgraded to from a king to a suite. We were lucky seeing the Hallmark original movie "Wedding at Graceland" was ironically being filmed at the time on our floor. We got to see some of the filming. As we arrived at our suite we were greeted to champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries. The decor was beautiful and echoed the style of Elvis. A beautiful tribute to the king from Priscilla and the design team. Many of our guests also stayed at the hotel and we extremely impressed with the restaurants, daily and nightly entertainment and those late-night peanut butter and banana sandwiches and hot chocolate that became a staple in Elvis' diet. If you are considering a place to stay the Guesthouse at Graceland has it all. Read less

7th Floor TCB Suite- beautiful, modern-yet nostalgic. The only place to stay when Visiting Graceland. Food amazing, decor exceeded expectations. Elvis impersonators and free transportation to and from airport. Our bartender, Derek was a breath of fresh air! So many fascinating stories and best Gin and Tonic hands down! No to mention that amazing smile he greeted us with every time! Ms. Willie- front desk agent; your bubble gum nails matched your amazing greeting and service! Southern Hospitality at is best! Ms. Susan Maguire- events coordinator Queen! It does not get better than this! Average rating earned was a result of our lack of cleanliness in the TCB suite- Beds poorly made, shower had mold, shower door was dirty, closet had so much dirt accumulated that it was simply due to neglect! Our dining room table had chocolate all over it for all 4 days of our stay- and this was during the beginning of the Pandemic madness when we were promised extra care. You asked for feedback- then ignore it. Events attended were well planned with exception to the very end (gospel brunch) when our belongings were moved to sit VIP staff they failed to accommodate. We came back to our table with our plates in hand...and made us feel WE inconvenienced them! For our VIP ticket- you made us feel unwelcomed. Shame on you! They even broke an item from one of our workshops....We were sad and embarrassed- definitely not southern hospitality style- especially at the price we paid. Sent email to hotel manager, return receipt requested. Although marked received, to date, our claim was not acknowledged. Pictures attached- we want nothing for our trouble-we are not coming back- not worth it. Bucket list- check! Read less

We had to cancel our trip to Florida due the closure of the attractions during this time social distancing. We leave in Memphis so we decided to request a suite at the Guest House and celebrate our anniversary. The staff was very nice, and we enjoyed room service. The food was excellent.

Although we did have a great time and our rooms were comfortable, we did have an incident that should be mentioned. Our friend fell at the lobby bar due to drink spillage that was never cleaned up even after being mentioned several times by us and other guests. It was like there was no concern about it at all. Although we did have a great time and our rooms were comfortable, we did have an incident that should be mentioned. Our friend fell at the lobby bar due to drink spillage that was never cleaned up even after being mentioned several times by us and other guests. It was like there was no concern about it at all. We did "fill out" an incident report which consisted of giving our names and room number to Anne, I believe?? She did ask if my friend wanted to go to the hospital which thankfully she was OK minus some bruises. We expressed that we were there to celebrate our friends "80th" birthday and what if SHE had fallen????? Well, then Anne told our friend that she had Elvis yearbooks and would she like one for her Birthday which was a great gesture and appreciated BUT my friend who fell was offered nothing. I could understand it if The Guest House was not so established and working out the kinks but that is not the case and there is no excuse!!! It's simple hospitality, maintain the premises, train your employees and make sure that your guests are well taken care of and if they are not, extend your generosity to counter your down falls. We stayed months ago and I’m still sickened that we paid for this experience. We were greeted by a valet who immediately was irritated by our arrival, wound up screaming at me, and throwing keys at my husband. We should have left right then. But this was my husbands dream and with kids in tow I didn’t want to shoot myself in the foot. The staff didn’t care about our arrival experience despite the manager discussing it with us a day later. The restaurants are slow and average and expensive at best. The rooms are beat up and worn. The pool was closed. The staff is disinterested and detached and there wasn’t a smile in sight... everyone seems like they’re anxious for their shift to end and to get home. I don’t blame them. I wanted to get out of this place too! If you’re looking for a fun experience in Memphis, head down to the Peabody. The guesthouse at Graceland is a tacky and dark and low and depressing and our stay has left a hole in the pit of my stomach. Read less
