This hotel feels luxurious but comfortable, it feels like home. Theres nightly Elvis movies in the on-site theater, an upscale restaurant and a sports bar to hang out, live music and an amazing pool. Dont miss dinner at Marlowes BBQ, they pick you up in a Pink Cadillac. Every inch is decorated with style and the showers have 2 showerheads.

This place was awesome. The staff was helpful and super friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The food at both restaurants is absolutely delicious. I love the fact that everything I needed is right in one place and so close to Graceland. What a wonderful experience this was! I’m already planning another trip with the next six months.

We stayed The Guesthouse during Elvis week 2019. We booked 2 rooms, on line on Dec 2018. They’re was a 3 night min. stay during Elvis week. We spent a Whopping $2000.00 CDN per room total for just accommodations. Having in mind that that this is a high class hotel, with good star rating, with the stamp of approval from the estate of EP, we were terribly disappointed with the lack of customer service. The grounds are nice. Main areas are clean but Most of the stuff is inexperienced and rude. It’s a far cry from the southern hospitality they advertise. My early booking came with a promotion of unlimited passes to EP Memphis and attractions. When the passes didn’t arrive I called the hotel directly.I was assured that the passes would be waiting for us at checkin. Looks I had that in writing! Checkin has no knowledge of the offer and even though I had the email proof they would not give us passes. I was told to go to the entrance at EP Memphis ticket booth, and they in turn told me to go back to the front desk! Left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. Suffice to say, we finally got our unlimited passes. Before arriving I made an online request for champagne in room upon arrival and one dinner reservations Delta’s diner but they did not reply to my requests. The front desk is rude and inattentive. We weren’t informed about the free shuttle service downtown, so we were using Uber. Our rooms were on the 6 floor facing the pool. The hallway was quiet, the beds large and comfortable. The decor is decent but it’s lacking in amenities,. in room coffee maker didn’t work, the fire alarm battery died causing it to ring every 30 seconds. We did not get turn down service and they never replaced our towels. There’s no fan in the bathroom. The carpet in our room needed cleaning. Service was not consistent. The pool ran out of towels and there no bar service by the pool. We had one dinner and I breakfast at Deltas kitchen. The food is expensive and the waitresses were inexperienced. During both visits they kept us waiting, mixed up orders, forgot to serve some food, drinks, and even cutlery. The candlelight vigil and the tour of the Graceland were the best part of this experience. I wish I had booked Peabody hotel instead. If the management doesn’t address the lack of customer service and attention to detail this hotel will be run down in no time. The are not delivering on their promises of “Southern hospitality, royal treatment and luxurious amenities that would make the king proud.” as advertised! Elvis would not approve! They need better staff! Read less
