The hotel and staff was nice and the rooms were a nice size with nice furniture. The 1st room I had, the carpet was stained very badly and I felt they should not rent that room until the carpet was cleaned. The floor outside of the elevators always had a lot of water on it. Maintenance had to continue to mop the floor, whatever is causing it needs to be fixed. Only 2 light bulbs were working in all of the chandeliers that I saw, they really should have all of the lights working. This might seem minor but things like this is a risk that the hotel will continue to decline. Read less

In general a great stay. Minor issues but nothing major. Good location near Beale street (3 block walk). It was bike night on Beale Street so it may have been louder than usual 🤔 Got an upgrade to a larger corner room which was nice. Minor issues: really loud air conditioning- but it worked really well! And you had to be in the shower with… Read more

And you had to be in the shower with the water flowing on you to adjust the temp. Brrr. Attentive staff especially the valet. Cleanliness obvious. Comfy bed and pillows. Would surely stay again. I booked multiple rooms here in order to bring the family to Memphis for a getaway. This hotel is in poor condition and has no business operating under an IHG flag. I booked multiple rooms here in order to bring the family to Memphis for a getaway. This hotel is in poor condition and has no business operating under an IHG flag. Our first room on the 12th floor had a broken lock, no toilet paper, a broken phone, and bugs swarming the shower. On our way to the room we had to step over large garbage bags that were piled up in front of the passenger elevators. I went back down to the front desk to request another room. Our second room had a mystery brown streak (complete with hair) on the first bed, mystery red/black stains on the second bed, mildew growing in the shower, and damaged shelving in the bathroom. I went back downstairs to request another room again. Our third room on the 14th floor had stains on both beds, filthy windows, and an air conditioner that had leaked and stained the wall. Once again, the shower was swarming with bugs. I went back downstairs, again, to request yet another room. I couldn't get into the fourth room because the door was locked from the inside. The front desk sent up a maintenance worker who kicked the door in. Fortunately, both beds were clean! Unfortunately, the bathroom was also crawling with bugs. I wasn't going to ask for a fifth room. I started checking prices for other 3-star hotels, but the last-minute prices for a multi-room reservation had skyrocketed. Faced with the prospect of paying a fortune for a new hotel and shepherding the family to a new property after spending all day traveling, I told the front desk we'd stick with the second room they gave us (the only one that was bug-free) if they changed the sheets. Afterwards, one of the beds was clean. I figured ignorance was bliss and didn't bother checking the other. Our trip was capped off by a lack of hot water. Sunday morning the water was lukewarm, but on Monday morning the water was cold on its hottest setting. As we were packing up to leave, I made one last check of the bathroom to make sure we hadn't forgotten anything. That's when I noticed a few bugs crawling around in the shower. On our drive to the airport, another family member mentioned that she had found bugs in her room as well. Coupled with the visibly decaying pool deck (which appears to be currently used as a garbage dump), the damaged elevator door, the dirty floors in the lobby, the bug infestation, the trash piles, the broken locks, the vandalized phones, and the stained sheets, it's clear that this property is not well run. Every hotel can have bad days, but when you get six bug-infested rooms, half of which have nasty stained sheets, that's not a "bad day". That's a badly-managed hotel. Not only did I not get so much as a half-hearted "sorry", but when I tried to post this exact same review on IHG's website, they kept deleting it and sending me some kind of laughable legal threat. This makes me think that IHG must be getting flooded with complaints about this hotel, so they've simply decided to block bad reviews. Read less

On check-in, no one told us there was no housekeeping service for our stay. Our room was missing a luggage rack as well as a hair dryer. The box of tissues in the bathroom had 2 tissues in it. The floors were dirty in some places like the mop had missed some areas. The tub drain needed a good scrubbing around it. The dresser had chips in it. The hallways smelled like pot. One evening while waiting for the elevator in the lobby, the doors opened, and a young adult male had just completed peeing in the corner of the elevator walked out and urine was dripping from his leg all across the floor. He continued to proceed with his hands inside his pants. To finish this visit off, the next morning there was no hot water. Pros: The beds were comfortable. The valet staff were great. Read less

Awesome stay. Definitely a go to hotel in downtown Memphis that is close to everything (Beale St, St Jude's, sports venues). Everyone from the valet to the housekeepers to the breakfast server to the front desk very accommodating and genuinely cared how my stay was going. Special mention to Maxwell who changed my room without any problem as I had a concern being close to elevator and Ms Rose who double checked the old room making sure nothing was left there. Staff is also very COVID cautious with the latest surge. Comfortable beds and pillows, rooms well equipped with anything one would need. If I ever go back to Memphis I know where I am staying.
