The Holiday Inn Downtown is within easy walking distance to most of Memphis’s major attractions. As you enter the lobby, you’ll be welcomed by that famous Southern hospitality. Visit Russwood Park Sports Bar & Grill for some American cuisine with that southern flavour or to catch a sports game on one of their 8 TV screens. For something more relaxed, the Coffee Corner is the place for hot and cold coffees, frozen blends and snacks on the go.

Good place to stay when visiting Beale Street.

A little pricey, about $220 for premium king room, but it was a very nice corner room. Excellent lobby staff and efficient valet parking that cost $25 per night. Provides easy walkable access to Beale Street and many restaurants. I'd stay there again. Right across the street from the Peabody and at least $100 cheaper.
Perfectly Fine

Perfectly fine hotel in downtown Memphis, close to Beale Street. Clean and comfortable with an acceptable breakfast bar. They did a packed breakfast for our early start which was much appreciated and I’d recommend this as a good value stay in the city.
Housekeeping staff steal and corporate doesn't care

We recently stayed at Holiday Inn Memphis, Beale St. while visiting Memphis to attend a local football game. The only morning the housekeeping staff came in we had about $80 stolen from a wallet that was at the bottom a bag. (There wasn't a safe in the room.) The next morning when we discovered the money was missing, it was reported to the manager, Anthony Frost. He said an incident report would be filed and someone from the corporate office would be in contact within 48 hours. We tried calling him several times in the next week and was finally told that he no longer worked at the hotel. We were given the name of the new manager, Percy (we weren't given a last name), who was left messages on 3 different days. He never returned any calls. We then called IHG, the corporate company for Holiday Inn. They filed an incident report and said someone would be in contact in 48 hours. Again, after 5 days, no one called or emailed. I talked with someone at corporate who said no action had been taken on the incident report and it was just sitting there. They said they would call the Holliday Inn immediately and start the process for the incident report. Nothing has happened since then. It's obvious that Holiday Inn and IHG aren't going to take any action or respond to us. We would never stay at this Holiday Inn and would not recommend it to anyone.

No light, no warm water and ice cold room
Oct 15, 2023650KarinBFornebu, Norway
We were taken aback by the ice cold room and two of the lamps without light. Contacted reception and a nice guy came to replace some of the bulbs and said he would look into the problems with the AC. We crawled under the bedclothes, but next day it was still ice cold, so we decided on a shower, but no warm water.

Your holiday may be affected by travel restrictions or cancellations
We are continually reviewing our flying schedules, taking into account the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) advice against all non-essential travel. Your next holiday is only a click away - our website has thousands of options ready to book. But if you need more help, just give us a call on 0344 472 9646.
With many customers needing our help, we are prioritising those customers due to travel before 31 December 2020. Log in to Manage my booking where you can message us about your options or you can give us a call. Bear in mind you may have to wait longer than expected. We continue to review this and working to open up these options to more customers. In the meantime check out our FAQs to see if this can help answer any immediate questions.
Rest assured; we will notify you as soon as we know if your holiday has been affected by email.

Payments are being prioritised based on when the request was made, working in order from March 2020 onwards. We will always try to process refunds at the earliest opportunity, for requests before August our maximum timeframe is 120 days. As we are steadily reducing the maximum processing time for each new request, for refund requests made in August, we expect the maximum processing time to be 80 days, from the date the refund is requested. For those requesting a refund in September, we expect it to be processed within a maximum of 60 days, and then reduce to 30 days for refunds requested in October, before returning to normal levels.
To finalise the amendment, one of our customer advisors will phone you. We need to work through amend requests in departure date order so we can prioritise those with the most imminent travel plans, so you may have a longer wait than usual until we’re able to ring you back. We will help everyone that wants to move their holiday.
