Excellent over nite stay. River Inn is always comfortable and clean. The food at Paulette's is first rate as well. Seems to be Memphis' only luxury hotel. We love the 4th floor outdoor bar for the sunset over the river.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, and the perfect blend of amenities. The breakfast at Paulette's was perfect. And the view of the Mississippi River out the window couldn't be beat. It was easy to get in and out of the inn quickly, and we felt comfortable and safe inside the inn. Our room was really lovely, too.

The overall condition of the property was poor. The room (222) has many stains in the carpet. Southwest corner of room appears to have water damage (dark stains at baseboard and carpet. Air conditioner vent was caked with dust, same for bathroom exhaust vent. Toilet had a large crack. Checking in felt like the lobby was an after thought. It… Read more

Our room was located on the 3rd floor with a view of the river. Nicely appointed room and fairly spacious. Bed was very comfortable. We also had some decent sherry and chocolates for evening cordials. Disappointing though was that Paulettes is not open Sundays after 4 pm and there was a private event booked on the rooftop terrace leaving Tugs as your only dining option for dinner. I’d recommend that when the hotel has that type of limitations that Paulettes open for at least a limited dinner. Bathtub/shower also slopes down from the back and is slippery. Be careful! Breakfast is included in your room and was perfect. Would I stay again? Probably not. Read less

Everything was excellent. It is a little over priced if we wanted to visit more often. I would like a weekly rate should we want to stay longer and visit . Definitely the place to stay. We have a family member renting on the island and going to medical school and we would like to be close when we visit and eat and stay on the island.
