Beautiful and historic but will only be a one time visit for us. The facility is dated, not updated. bedding and towels lovely but no room to store stuff in bathroom. Stretching behind nighttable to find Internet plugs. Personnel were lovely and friendly. Of course the location is stunning. Dinner at Paulettes was great but breakfast, touted as ‘included’ was abysmal. The AM lobby coffee bar never materialized. I realise it’s Covid times but lugging or substantial luggage in a bell cart ourselves was tough from down the street. I’m well aware of the historical background - we used to frequent B&Bs all the time.We travel frequently and have experienced and understand all the hiccups of Covid era travel, - but this just didn’t have that extra “wow” of a luxury boutique experience. Did not meet expectations. value and experience not the same. Room was small except bathroom but it was mostly a large area in front of sink with no purpose. Make sure you ask lots of questions before you book . I did not like being a room across the street form the two major attractions of the Inn.

I contacted the manager and was told I would receive a call back, but never received a call or a follow-up email regarding my dispute. Overpriced rooms and terrible service. I had a much better experience at Big Cypress downtown at the Pyramid! Do NOT waste your money staying here. Get a room at the Pyramid and VISIT Harbor Town if you absolutely have to. The rooms at the Pyramid are more luxurious and there are no hidden fees or additional charges, the staff and management are amazing. We will continue to use Big Cypress for future business trips. She greeted us with champagne and even upgraded us to the penthouse, since we were celebrating my friend’s birthday! We loved going right next door to Tug’s for drinks and appetizers. Then we visited The Terrace restaurant to top off the evening. Beautiful view of the Memphis Bridge which is lighted at night! Every detail of this hotel is beautiful and cozy! We watched barges pass on the Mississippi right outside the window! The staff goes out of their way to be helpful and friendly! Breakfast at Pauletta’s was eggs, bacon, pastries and even fresh squeezed juice, which is included in the stay! I am very impressed with this amazing hotel and you will be, also! Read less
