The hotel

Rubbing shoulders with America’s biggest country music attractions, Hilton Nashville Downtown guarantees you’ll make the most of every moment you’re in town. With Walk of Fame Park as your front garden, leading you straight to the Country Music Hall of Fame, it’s also just a block from Ryman Auditorium and near Nashville’s famous honky tonk bars. You can kick off your day with breakfast at the hotel’s MarketStreet, before hitting the gym or taking in Nashville’s sights – or more importantly its sounds. And, whether you’re back for lunch, dinner, or just evening cocktails, you’ve got the striking atrium’s Symphony Café, The Palm Steakhouse, and the authentic Abruzzi tastes of its Italian restaurant, Il Mulino Trattoria, to pick from. Although, as this is an all-suite hotel, you may be tempted to just order room service instead.

It was nice to know the great staff. It can be a hectic city, so it was nice to have friendly faces at the hotel showing Southern hospitality. Ken valet helped us throughout our time there. We found hidden gems through staff suggestions. Thanks for everything!

Brent came up and helped us unload our luggage and by the time we were unloaded they had already given us several great ideas for dinner and what to do afterwards! The Southern was a great recommendation btw. Check in was very busy but went smoothly. Given the location and the helpful attitude of the staff this will be our go to when we come back to Nashville! Over the last few years in my visits to Nashville, I have stayed at this particular Hilton on four occasions. I’m a diamond member and there are several Hilton in the area, but this particular one is about 4 1/2 seconds from Broadway strip it’s literally THE closest hotel to the action. This really nothing bad to say about this hotel, it’s always awesome, great Lobby area with a big open atrium, glass see-through elevators, it’s quite an experience, just walking in and out of the place. I’ve always had good experiences at this hotel but this particular visit I also wanted to point out the amazing staff, in particular to gentleman who helped me immensely when I had to extend my stay a few days because I was sick. Considering my visit was back in May during peak season there, extending my stay could’ve gotten very messy and it has on occasion, with other hotel chains and certain Hilton, but thanks to the incredible help by Josh and Day at the front desk, everything went smooth as silk. I want to emphasize that I had to extend my stay three times, playing the whole thing by ear while I tried to get well enough to travel back to New York and each time I had to extend for a day or two, these two guys were amazing with making sure I got my privileges, was able to stay in the same room, without having to move all of my things. They helped me work out the correct rate for my stay, everything from soup to nuts and I have been meaning for several weeks to write this review and say how much I appreciated the service of all of the staff, but especially Josh and Day. They made everything seamless and this really made a big difference, especially since I wasn’t feeling very well and didn’t want to deal with extra unnecessary stress. Other than that, the hotel is outstanding, I’m on a super restricted diet, and the restaurant waiters and chef made sure that everything was perfect, each and every day. I look forward to my next stay in a few months. Thanks to everyone at the property and look forward to seeing everyone again in September. It’s experiences like this that make me happy to be a loyal diamond member... And keep me coming back to Nashville. Read less
