I was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The outside doesn’t do it justice as the inside was very clean and up to date. Staff was extremely nice and helpful and there is no doubt I would stay here again and when I’m In Nashville and staying outside of downtown this will now be at the top of my list! Close to Opry, Opry Mall and only about 10-15 minutes to downtown. 5 stars for sure ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Read less

This hotel needs a major renovation. Everything is outdated and the bedrooms are small. A few things we didn't like was the bathroom counter/sink/mirror was open to the rest of the room. Also, there are rooms that are outdoor access only like a motel. Personally, I don't like outside access rooms because they don't feel safe. A plus for this hotel was they had a shuttle running to the Gaylord Convention Center and Mall. We were attending an event at the Gaylord and we never had to drive there. Also a plus was the small cafe that was open from 6:30am-11:00am with breakfast items and coffee. I would not book it again nor recommend it. I think it's too pricey for what it is. It feels like a motel and has the price tag of a "marriott" which it is not. It is also not the Gaylord Opryland. Don't confuse the two. Read less

We have been on a 2.5 week trek across TN, and needed a quality place to chill before heading to BNA. We have been on a 2.5 week trek across TN, and needed a quality place to chill before heading to BNA. I booked this place during a weary night in East TN, so when I realized it was not the Opry Resort across the street, we dealt with that emotion - not their fault. The other issue....not their fault either.....we came during a National Cheer Competition. We got a very loud interior room. I will give this place EXCELLENT credit for enforcing a 9pm Quiet Time. Because before that 9pm, imagine a hotel room in the middle of a High School Gym during Homecoming. I would say overall, this place is a little high-priced, luring people with the 'Opry' name attached. This was a tiniest King Room, I have ever stayed at. I had to take empty suitcases to the car, just to have space. Positives: friendly helpful staff, including security. The location is good and central to Nashville. The BackStage Opry on-site diner was very good as well, for those with Cracker Barrel burnout. It's too bad there was nothing onsite for Breakfast. For the cost of this room, we would think there would be. The promote their "Atrium" as a breakfast option, but we are not muffin, pastry, insta-oatmeal breakfast people. We did enjoy our time here, made exclusively by sticking to the 9pm quiet time. I dont want this review to reflect that area....they were all great kids enjoying a lifetime experience.....let them be loud....until time to sleep :). I do think they should re-evaluate the price, however. I think they over-hype-market the price by using "opryland". Read less

Was in an outside facing room that was tucked in the very back behind what appeared to be an inclosed fence to hide dumpsters or something. The room reminded me of what I would find in a cheap motel. The inside of the hotel by the pool looked nice but the room I was in I could have stayed at a nicer place for half the price. I will not book again and would not recommend it to anyone. Read less

Just staring with the obvious- this place is NOT the Gaylord Opryland (which is amazing) and your first impression will be that it's on a busy road, next to a crappy seafood buffet, and has external doors to half of the rooms like a cheap roadside motel. Just staring with the obvious- this place is NOT the Gaylord Opryland (which is amazing) and your first impression will be that it's on a busy road, next to a crappy seafood buffet, and has external doors to half of the rooms like a cheap roadside motel. The inside is dark in spite of the skylights and the decor hasn't been changed since Johnny Cash got drunk next door at the Nashville Palace. But once inside... I think that is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. The room was surprisingly quiet for having an outdoor facing door, and was very clean. And although we were disappointed our Marriott points only got us this far and not across the street, it was a comfortable room and a great say. We were even able to check in early on a Sunday morning when most places would have told us we were out of luck. Staff were great. If you're staying here you can walk over to the Gaylord Opryland and enjoy the indoor gardens. But you'll want to eat on this side of the street. John A's in the back parking lot had great food, as did Scoreboard nearby. And you can't beat the Nashville Palace for an authentic honky tonk (and much better prices than any on Broadway!) Read less
