Go to Motel 6. You will get more for your money. Really unimpressive for the price. Poor shower water temp control and small room. This is a second rate hotel charging first rate prices. My room is mediocre. Very blah.

I'd just like to do a shout out for the housekeeping staff here. Specifically to Juana J. and Caren. I appreciate their quality work and their honesty. I know it seems cliche to say that it's rare these days, but it sure seems like it is. I left a valuable and didn't realize it till that evening after I had checked. I was able to pick the… Read more

I was able to pick the item up the next day. Thank you Juana J. and Caren!! By the way, first time I've stayed at this hotel and although somewhat aged, our rooms were clean and would stay here again. Read less

I stayed at the inn at Opryland this past fall. From entering the lobby, youre greeted by friendly smiling faces. Believe me. When I entered there were at least two behind the desk, one outside and one parked in front of the desk. My sister and I were excited to check out Nashville. Unfortunately she was doubled over in pain the first day. Turns out she had appendicitis while on vacation. After emergency surgery at Vanderbilt (day two of the vacation), the doctor recommended bed rest as our flight out was in two days. I spoke to the hotel supervisor Nizzy about the situation and she was so gracious and helpful to accommodate us. She even asked what if anything we needed. I have to say that the staff here is top notch, particularly Nizzy who went above and beyond for my poor sister who essentially saw only the airport and hotel the whole trip. I was able to thank her during my trip and was glad she was around both the Sunday (when I spoke to her) and Monday (when I got to thank her). The facilities are clean. The restaurant is conveniently inside as was a separate breakfast area by the pool. The bed was comfortable and the pillows extra soft! But i recommend an inner room Vs outside. It’s noisy in the outer rooms and if you’re a light sleepers, you will have trouble sleeping. There is a slight musty smell to the rooms but most places that have humidity struggle with that problem. Tips: The hotel was about a $15 Uber/Lyft to downtown and the hotel had a free shuttle to the mall and etc areas. Drop off and pick up at mall is by the TGI Friday’s /food court. (The mall doesn’t have a CVS etc for snacks but there is a Five and Below by the food court area that sells drinks and candy.) Small shop in lobby for things you may need (Tylenol snacks etc). Coffee vending machine in lobby. (Ie you have to pay) Read less

Just FYI, this is NOT a resort. It is NOT next door to the Gaylord Opryland Resort; it is 8-10 minute walk across a busy street. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. But this is a Motel-type lodging, with most rooms opening directly to the outside. My room was next to the busy highway which resulted in road noise. There were 4 of us in the room. We expected queen size beds, as most every motel provides these days. All double rooms here are full-size (double) beds -- too small in my opinion unless you are sleeping with a family member. The bathroom is TINY, barely enough room to move around. The vanity does not allow for 2 people to use the mirror at the same time. Not worth the price. Read less

This hotel is a throwback to the 1960s. Our room was somewhat careworn and the layout was very poor. The bathroom contained only a bath and toilet and did not have enough space to ‘swing a cat’. The sink was outside the bathroom and was very slow to drain. We were staying during a heatwave, in a room with an outside entrance overlooking Music… Read more
This hotel is a throwback to the 1960s. Our room was somewhat careworn and the layout was very poor. The bathroom contained only a bath and toilet and did not have enough space to ‘swing a cat’. The sink was outside the bathroom and was very slow to drain. We were staying during a heatwave, in a room with an outside entrance overlooking Music Valley Drive. The air conditioner in our room did a reasonable job, but it vented too the walkway outside. With numerous air conditioners venting to the walkway, the approach to the room was impossibly hot and traffic made the room noisy. The breakfast from the Atrium café could only be described as appalling. The main choice was pre-prepared egg dishes in muffins which were reheated, a few pastries, some cereals and some fresh fruit. No sign of a decent cooked breakfast. This is an hotel designed for a previous age, it does not need modernisation, it needs to be knocked down and rebuilt to suit 21st century needs. Read less
