This was our first Kimpton stay and we enjoyed it and were not disappointed. We decided to pursue IHG brands mainly for the Kimpton being so pet friendly, as we have a large dog that travels with us. It's difficult to find lodging with large dog - esp. upscale lodging! We had a change in plans and while corporate IHG was unable to help us - the front desk reached out to me and moved our dates up by one day. Thanks Rusty and Jon! At check in we realized that IHG had changed it back to the original dates without notifying me or them! Thankfully, they was able to get us the same room type we had been upgraded to. I am Platinum elite so we were upgraded to a King premier room, 706. The room was fine and had a great skyline city view; however... it faces all the bars in Midtown so we heard music into the wee hours. Since we are both light sleepers we asked if we could move to the quieter side of the building - Rusty worked his magic and even thought they were sold out we got the same room type - only BETTER - the 30 block rooms have balconies and an extra large bathroom! We enjoyed the large walk in shower along with water closet and dual vanity. The room is nicely appointed with mini bar (elites get $10 bar credit), chaise lounger, king bed, 2 nightstands, chair, closet w/ two robes, and large dresser and table. We slept like babies in our new quite room. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and the complimentary bikes - they are new and rode like a dream. The Henley is right there for happy hours 4 to 6 - on the first night we enjoyed a couple drinks and appetizer. We walked our dog in the neighborhood and honestly never got our car out of the garage, which we self parked for $28. Lots of great dining options walking distance. The Stillery has a great roof top that allows dogs, the Slider offers an awesome happy hour w/ half off apps, our favorite was Two boots for yummy NY style pizza!! We ate there twice and got a pie to go for home on our last day! The hotel offers a nightly wine hour and morning coffee and tea (you have to request the latter oddly... it's not sitting out). The parking garage is odd that you can only enter on the 7th floor. The fitness center is very dark and uniniviting. those are the only two negatives I have! Read less

We stayed for two nights this past weekend. From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed with the familiar Kimpton scent that instantly makes you feel relaxed. The lobby is beautiful with a gorgeous fireplace and amazing art. Jon greeted us upon arrival and stored our bags since it was very early in the day. Our rooms were ready well before regular check-in time, which we very much appreciated! There was a Starbucks around the corner and many bars and restaurants within walking distance. The construction is annoying but there is construction all over Nashville right now! We never had to wait longer than about 20-30 seconds for an elevator. Our room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We were able to adjust the temperature, which was great. The bed was divine! We visited the Henley for drinks twice. The bar area is welcoming, with cool art and very comfortable barstools. Excellent cocktails and draft beer choices. They have a happy hour from 4-6 weekdays which we enjoyed. Rusty was able to grant us a late checkout since we were leaving on a Monday. This made our last day even better! Every single staff member we encountered was extremely nice and professional. We loved our stay and would highly recommend the Kimpton Aertson! Read less

Pretty from the outside. Nice lobby area. Rooms are spacious, but the dogs pee smell in the hallway is absolutely gross. I’ve seen so many pee marks on the carpet in the hall. We were on the 7th floor and that’s also where the dogs go pee at in the garage. Had I know it would have been this gross I would have not stayed here’s if you have pets,… Read more

Construction outside is annoying. Also there are residents who live here. Just weird. Read less

5/5 Service: The staff provided excellent service throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to meet my needs. Jon, Alex, and Ibriham were especially helpful in making our stay meaningful. We were upgraded to a suite prior to arrival and presented with birthday treats for my partner. The hotel staff also provided a fresh bed and bowls for my pooch. Using the social password and our platinum elite ambassador benefits, we also received $20 in dining credits. Location: The hotel is conveniently located, it’s a few minute walk from Hattie B’s and other bars. Parking was also easy to find and there is green areas nearby for our dog to enjoy. Food: The Bentley restaurant had delicious food for brunch and the atmosphere was perfect. One thing to note is that the room service menu is very limited. Overall, we would definitely come back to this Kimpton Hotel! The hotel was perfectly decorated, comfortable, and conveniently located. It had everything we needed and more. Our pooch also enjoyed his stay. Highly recommend. Read less
