Beautiful hotel, surprisingly quiet, but the public spaces across the street from the hotel near the Tennessee State House attract a large crowd of homeless people, many of whom wander the nearby streets and can be very aggressive. Now, I grew up in NYC in the 70s and 80s--I'm not someone freaked out by a few homeless people. But these folks will follow you, approach you, etc. at all hours of the day and night. They bring in mobile showers in trucks for the homeless--it's quite a problem in the city. So while the hotel itself was great with good service and staff, lovely amenities, and beautiful public spaces, the neighborhood is not the best to walk around in, unfortunately. Read less

Newly renovated, very up to date, clean, convenient to all the action We really didn't spend much time at the hotel, well, this is Nashville and never a dull moment. It was, however, a very nice place to stay. The concierge and door staff were very friendly and free flowing with advice and recommendations. It was very close to the bars on… Read more

My mom and I stayed at the Sheraton this past June as we have never been to Nashville and wanted to see the sites. We arrived a bit early and was told our room would be ready in a couple of hours which was fine since we were quite hungry. They thankfully were able to store our luggage so we didn't have to carry it around with us. We came back and got checked into our room and it was quite nice but we first noticed how cold the room was and that no matter how high you put the temperature up it stayed cold. We constantly wore sweaters and pants the whole time while in our room. We also noticed we were not given a mini fridge or a microwave which usually every hotel offers. We wanted to keep our drinks cool for out walking tours etc however that was not an option. They did have an ice bucket however, it was only big enough for 1 bottle. They did have a shuttle available but only for short distances. We took it once and the gentleman driving didn't seem to be a very happy camper so we ended up just walking back to the hotel. The staff at the hotel was great! I met 2 amazing employees William and Landon, they were just great. Very helpful and friendly! Also, they do allow dogs which was great for us since we are dog lovers and got to meet some great pups throughout our stay. All in all the hotel was great. Good location and within walking distance of quite a bit. Clean and the staff was pretty great. A few things that could be fixed but hey no perfect hotels out there! Thanks again! Read less

Very adequate hotel, nice staff, clean lobby and room and conveniently located. They could use an update but overall good value. We visited during Country fest. Nashville was sold out. This hotel would not have been my first choice but they did a good job.
