It’s sad to say but 4 stars used to mean something. Upon arrival, there’s almost no room to pull in front of the hotel. Valet is less than helpful, but rather sort of stood in the way. The attendant did explain that self park was an option, but both are priced at $45. There were no bellmen and no luggage carts. Checkin was friendly. We chose… Read more

The attendant did explain that self park was an option, but both are priced at $45. There were no bellmen and no luggage carts. Checkin was friendly. We chose this hotel because of the pool, which was closed for maintenance. In the morning my son and I took Luke warm showers. When I called guest service They asked if we ran the water. I explained we both showered. They sent an engineer up who acknowledged the shower was not as warm as the sink, but he couldn’t help. In all a beautiful building and okay location but if you’re walking to local attractions, there is a homeless population in Nashville that might concern you. We were never asked for change or even approached in our walk to and from Broadway, but if you’re from the suburbs this might concern you. Read less

We stayed for two nights this last weekend. The lobby and room were well designed and clean, but not much else good to talk about. It's obviously an older hotel that has been refreshed, but the refresh has been done well. We stayed for two nights this last weekend. The lobby and room were well designed and clean, but not much else good to talk about. It's obviously an older hotel that has been refreshed, but the refresh has been done well. Valet uses the first 3 floors of the parking garage so to self park ($89 for Friday afternoon to Sunday morning) we had to park on the 4th floor or higher. Okay fine, except the elevator in the garage was out of service. After parking we had to wonder around the parking garage floor trying to figure out which door was unlocked and would take us down to the lobby. The stairwell, which is damp and has concrete from the ceiling lying on the floor, only takes you to the first floor from which we had to walk down the up ramp where the cars drive. Signs at the doors state masks are required inside but no one is enforcing it and around 10% of people are ignoring the rule. We took cold showers two days in a row. I called the lobby and was told that it was an issue with us being on the 21st floor and the hot water not reaching the floor yet. I was told an engineer would work on it but the second morning was the same as the first. Also, the place is loud until late into the night which made sleeping difficult. The hotel has a lovely atrium that runs from the lobby up to the roof, so noise echoes throughout the hotel. I'm a fairly deep sleeper but was woken up by the loud din of yelling that lasted until 3:30 am. Also the pool was closed for maintenance. Read less

Disappointed. Had a wonderful view of people sleeping in the streets. Almost $50 just to park at the hotel because that fee is not included nor discounted if you stay there. No fridge in the room. No free coffee in the morning. Bed was just ok. Toilet paper was see through. Everything is extra charge. Save your money and stay in a… Read more

The trendy or modern look ended in lobby the rest just looked unfinished. Not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Read less

Very welcoming on arrival and a lovely room. 10-15 minute walk to the centre of town but there was a handy shuttle service that took us anywhere we wanted to go (within reason!) & picks you up later. Easy checkout process. Nice breakfast bar (but can't beat Puckett's for breakfast (5 minutes walk away). Read less

The check in process with the chocolates and champagne is meant to charm because the rest of the place is a disappointment for the price. First of all, this hotel is not cheap. On top of that, they charge a $17 amenity fee per day. For what you ask? It’s unclear. The pool is small w no hot tub. You will see nicer pools at a holiday inn for half… Read more

On top of that, they charge a $17 amenity fee per day. For what you ask? It’s unclear. The pool is small w no hot tub. You will see nicer pools at a holiday inn for half the price and no amenity charge. Breakfast is not included and parking is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive (like $38/day) so I’m just at a loss to what that fee could be for. The rooms are fine but small. There’s no mini fridge but you can request one. But beware because the reason there’s no mini fridge is bc the rooms are already cramped without it. Also requesting and waiting on a mini fridge is just an unnecessary hassle for such an expensive hotel. For the amount of money you’d spend per night, you can find much nicer accommodations. They should advertise the true cost so you do not feel nickel-and-dimed. Read less
