The hotel

A Hawaiian haven on Kauai's North Shore, this beautiful hotel is all about wellness, relaxation, and sustainability. With stunning views over Hanalei Bay, this really is an oceanfront sanctuary where you can enjoy as much or as little activity as you like. The beach is right on your doorstep, be it for a relaxing swim or a spot of paddle boarding and kayaking,and the cute town of Hanalei isn't far away to explore. But the highlight of this hotel (in our opinion) is the spa. With natural and organic products, and individualised treatments, you'll be feeling the effects long after your treatment has finished. The adults-only infinity pool is another highlight, with ocean views and a poolside bar, so you can enjoy some peace and quiet with a cocktail in hand. There's two other pools though, with a shallow one that's particularly suitable for the little ones, whilst Seedlings Kids club is a fun, educational space where the little ones can enjoy a host of activities inspiring imagination and discovery. And we haven't even touched on the food. There's a wide range of bars and reataurants that focus on locally sourced food - we're pretty sure you'll never go hungry here. All in all, this hotel is perfect for active families, solo travellers, and newlyweds alike.

The hotel itself is a spectacular resort with views of the Hanalei bay that I’ve never seen before. That in itself is worth the price that you pay to stay here. They had wonderful amenities and a relaxing pool with a view, in addition to close access to the ocean that was the perfect temperature. The service had highlights of excellence- Vincent was an awesome host for our stay. Gabby made a small hiccup in our reservation smooth over with ease, Fred Rosa and Jimmy took fantastic care of us at the members reception . Jimmy pours amazing drinks I must say. Humberto always made us feel great anytime that we saw him! The twin servers at the pool were a hoot and made us laugh all week while giving us an a tentative service ….And Minda, was the sweetest, kindest, most generous concierge we have ever had the pleasure of working with! We went to her desk, lost about what to do for the week and she lead us in the direction we needed . We used every one of her recommendations, and it made our trip the best we could’ve ever imagined. It is tucked into the side of a cliff, looking out over water and lush green mountains. The building, like lots of places in Kauai, is open to the outside in a wonderful way. The staff were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. We never waited long for our car, a bite, a towel, or a drink. The beach by the hotel is small but lovely. Bring water shoes because the sand is coarse. Our room was very thoughtfully designed with the needs of guests in mind. We hope to have the chance to return one day! Read less

Whenever we saw him again, he was always friendly with a hi. Room was ready and fronted the ocean with a large window with a screen. Didn't need the A/C as we enjoyed the fresh air. When we walked into the room, a bottle of complementary Prosecco was on ice with a tray of chocolates compliments of the hotel for celebrating our anniversary. Very thoughtful and appreciated. The 1 Kitchen for dinner was delicious with the local fish large enough for both of us. We spent time at the beach. Kia set us up on a great day bed with canopy. Not an extra charge which was very nice. Went to the bar at the pool where Anthony couldn't have been any nicer. He always said hello throughout the rest of our stay there. My wife took a fitness class with Bruno which she said was great. Raman was a manager at the pool and Sandbar restaurant. He was always asking if we needed something. He told us about the Saturday evening Barbeque at the pool which we went to and which was delicious. All in all, this was a great hotel who really train their staff well. Fantastic stay! Stunning views and excellent service. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. The food from the kitchen was delicious. We spent 3 days in July 2024 and the hotel exceeded all our expectations. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and we can't wait to return next year.
