So we had a phenomenal visit during a medical education conference; the resort is beautiful in a way photos don't do justice, every single staff member interaction was excellent, the grounds were gorgeously kept, there were plenty of random nice activities to do (feeding the koi fish, borrowing a bicycle, meeting the tropical parrots, etc), the food was consistently excellent (actually some of the best room service food I've ever had), then of course the conference process was exquisitely smooth. I do want to specifically point out Moani, who gave a tour of the artifacts at the hotel. She was a phenomenal presenter of very interesting historical information, and she was incredibly knowledgeable and was happy to answer tons of questions both in and out of scope of the tour itself. In this entire trip where so many things went well, Moani's programs (again, especially the artifacts tour) stand out as a real and absolute highlight. Also while mentioning people, Claudia the server by the pool was on top of it nonstop and provided truly exceptional service consistently, and Luzt our housekeeper did a spotless job and was just lovely to meet when we ran into her. The Grand Hyatt was absolutely wonderful. The grounds are impeccable, the food is amazing, and the staff went out of their way to insure we had a safe and pleasant stay. We truly appreciated the included laundry services, complete with soap products, for all those muddy hikes in Kauai!
