Great Spot. Beautiful property, grounds kept immaculate. Pools great for the kids. Meeting facilities wonderful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Having bikes on site to get around the village and adjacent area attractions was great. Nice that there was car rental (Avis) on site to do some day trips further away from Poipu.

This hotel is very well located. However the condition is bit dated for the price charged. Food prices are exhorbitant such as buffet breakfast for $39! which is way higher than comparative alternatives.

OK, it is a nice location. The grounds are beautiful. The pool is nice, with a slide that is fun for tweens. But rooms are, while nice enough, pretty ordinary. Cell service is virtually non existent in much of the resort, which is pretty inconvenient. On the plus side, the breakfast buffet is nice. Staff could use some training. When we checked in we found our room had no cell signal in the area. We tried to use the room phone to call the front desk to inquire about a different room, and it was out of order. We walked to the desk and they graciously found us a different room. But then they suggested that we call them when we were ready for a bellman to come help us mover our stuff. Um. Hello? We are moving because there is no cell service and the room phone is broken. So before going back to my room, I go check out the new room, and then come back to the desk to confirm we will take it. I speak to a different clerk, again explain the problem, and I am AGAIN told to call when I am ready to move. Oh well. Kuai is lovely. And the place is nice enough. Just not fancy or memorable.
