We’ve stayed at Plantation Hale a few times and it’s a condo with separate bedroom so you get a good amount of space at a decent price if you can reserve early. The location is right in Kapaa near grocery stores and CVS next door which is good. The not so good thing is the traffic buildup in that area because there’s a bypass road connecting to… Read more

The location is right in Kapaa near grocery stores and CVS next door which is good. The not so good thing is the traffic buildup in that area because there’s a bypass road connecting to the main road not far from there. If you’re heading toward Lihue just allow for more time to get there unless it’s early. Read less

We stayed at Plantation Hale Suites for the week as part of a vacation package we have. We arrived a little early before 3pm to see if we could check in but our room wasn't ready yet and told to come back at 3pm so we went to Long's down the street and when we got back our room was available. The front desk staff was friendly. We were on the 2nd floor in building K with a room that faced the ocean...great!! The condo was clean inspecting it as we entered. There was a kitchen area to the left with a living space with a table straight ahead. The table could fit four people and since it was just the two of us, there was plenty of space. The bathroom was to the right along with the bedroom. There were two beds...felt like fulls..maybe small queens. There is also a nice wide balcony area with two chairs. We couldn't get the cable in the living room to work but no biggie. There are a few things that could be updated but overall, we had a great stay. We just wished they had a broom in the room as with going to the beach, you get sand in your shoes but we managed. There is also a laundry room on the first floor of this building (I believe each building had their own laundry room). We didn't use the pools but there were 3 on the property. There was plenty of parking space near each building - we never had any issues parking. We didn't get/pay for any extra housecleaning services through our vacation plan which was cool and what we were used to traveling this way. You could also get pool towels as well but make sure you return them. Overall great stay and would consider staying here again. I loved its convenience between the north shore and south/west shore areas. Traffic can get heavy in the area but it's nothing we aren't use to living near the Dallas, TX area. Read less

All the employees were so friendly. The room we had was awesome. My grand daughter enjoyed the swimming pool. So convenient, close to everything. The room was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend it. 10 stars. Maika'i Loa

Bathrooms were dirty, pillow case did not smell clean, found hair in the bathtub and a used coffee filter in the coffee maker. This was worst than Motel 6 and was not worth the nightly rate. Very dissatisfied.

This was not a very nice place. Our carpets were filthy, the appliances were very old and we would not use the stove in fear of an electrical fire. This was not a very nice place. Our carpets were filthy, the appliances were very old and we would not use the stove in fear of an electrical fire. There was used soap in the bathroom and the shower was dirty. The air was a wall unit that was rigged to cool both the living room and bed room by a makeshift vent. It did not work well cooling the rooms in the July heat. This air unit also drained onto the carpeted porch that was molded and could not be used. Read less
