Grounds were clean, but we rented this place so to the amazing looking pool. Yes, the pool was still amazing looking, but it was sooo cold you couldn’t enjoy it. It was advertised as a heated pool, but they turned off heater. People actually wore wetsuits, pants and shirts just to get in with their kids. Our particular unit was ok, A301, but… Read more

We decided to stay here after getting a unit from an owner. We stayed in building H unit 404. We had a nice ocean and pool view. The unit was nice but showing it’s age with wear and tear. Furniture needs updated for sure. Great sunrise from the lanai each morning. We did not eat at the restaurant during our stay. Found it odd that the kitchen for… Read more

Furniture needs updated for sure. Great sunrise from the lanai each morning. We did not eat at the restaurant during our stay. Found it odd that the kitchen for the restaurant used to be the pool snack bar and servers had to hustle meals to the restaurant from there. Place was not really crowded but lots of families. I can imagine in the summer that getting pool chairs could be an issue. We grilled one night for dinner and it worked out very well. One morning for my walk I paused to check the cleanliness of the grills. I noticed that someone left the one grill on from the night before. The knob to turn it off was very hot. I guess they should have timers so grills would automatically shut off. All in all the resort met our needs for the week. Nothing really bad to say. Just not for us. Read less

Located just a little ways north of the airport, this location served as a great hub for activities. We had three 2 bedrooms units. All three had different configurations for the second bedroom. You’ll want to request one or two beds in the 2nd bedroom. We didn’t know to ask so one unit just had a double and sofa bed in the 2nd bedroom. Be aware that the lobby closes early so if you have a late arrival you’ll have to go through the security guard to get your key code. The units were perfect for everyone to have a little space. A grocery store is across the street if you want to stock up. The units didn’t have basic condiments so be prepared to buy it. Same thing for laundry soap etc. They do have beach toys, chairs and boogie boards to rent so that was an added surprise. The pool is awesome! The food options were limited due to Covid and the restaurant was only open limited hours. Overall-all was good. Read less

Condo style resort of average quality. Extensive pools and hot tubs but beach is not truly swimable due to coral - bring beach shoes. Centrally located in Kapa’a and about ten mins from airport. We stayed in ocean view, two bedroom. 8 mile bike/ walking trail nearby. There is better beach park just down the road but does not compensate for lack of swimming beach in front of property. Beware exorbitant cleaning fee - we stayed three nights and cleaning fee was $350. That’s gouging. Read less

Luckily we only had to deal with the front desk staff checking in and out, however, both experiences were unpleasant. Luckily we only had to deal with the front desk staff checking in and out, however, both experiences were unpleasant. We were not told ahead of time that we'd have to access the Safe Travel sites, on our devices, upon checking in. We had everything printed out for all guests, but that wasn't enough, none of us knew our passwords because we had done the uploads on our home computers months before we left for this trip. Checking in took nearly and hour for three couples. Checking out was also a mess, I was charged over $100 more than my confirmation due to some new tax by the state that was imposed after I made my booking back in August or September. Again, it took nearly an hour with the front desk staff trying to figure out why I was charged more than I was guaranteed on my booking. The lady pretty much insisted that I was lying when I told her that my credit card was charged before we even checked in. I had to pull up my bank account and show her the $3,000 charge and when it posted to my account, proving they charged my account BEFORE I checked in. As for the stay itself, the condo was fantastic, the kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the temperature was adjustable to be comfortable in the unit. We paid extra for a Partial Ocean View condo, and you'll see from my photos what that got us... it was a view of the pool and the ocean in the far distance. Don't upgrade for this view, it isn't worth it at all. The area was nice around us and there are lots of food options and shopping near. Read less
