This location is right across the street from the beach and is ideal if you want to be where all the action is as there are lots of restaurant and shopping options! With that said, if you want to be in a more secluded area this place is not for you.

Not what you expect from a hyatt property totally disappointed, the property is under construction and was an eye sore the whole time there. The elevator wait time was ridiculous constant sardine status. Property was dirty and unkept not use to seeing that in a Hyatt. Pool was disappointing, my house pool is bigger. The elevator wait time was ridiculous constant sardine status. Property was dirty and unkept not use to seeing that in a Hyatt. Pool was disappointing, my house pool is bigger. Only 2 places to eat and they both suck, no bar lounge area, no live entertainment, the room had old dirty furniture, not pretty at all. The view was awesome though. Had to keep asking housekeeper for shampoo and soap. At one point it was 3:00 pm and they hadn’t cleaned our room. I would never stay here again, i paid premium price for a hotel 6 category 3, I would never recommend this place to anyone expecting a category 5, only good thing about this place was location. Clean hotel and lots of amenities, basically in Waikiki beach and in middle of shops etc so great location. Service nothing to report about but such a massive complex you are probably just one of many hundreds so not the personal touch you get from top hotels. Read less

Everytime I travel, the very last thing I would need to worry about is accomodation. I make sure all IS set prior to arrival. This hotel lived up to its promise— "It's good not to be home!" Room is spotless. Smells good. Bathroom a bit small but not a deal breaker for me. Customer service at the front desk is topnotch—a big shout out to CHREA. Warm, approachable, and simply know how to make her guest happy without being asked. The check-in process felt like personal not transactional. That 'connection' was built. I, too, work as a hotel front desk that's why I kinda know the drill. (Chrea didn't know about this until end of transaction, BTW). Also, extending our big Mahalo to Leonora, our so warm housekeeper making our room feels like home, and Tony the ENG guy who even declined to receive our 'tip' when he patiently instructed us to set up our TV links remotely. And Ray at the front also made our check-out a total breeze! These employees are asset! Thank you, everyone. Bottomline? Such an uncomplicated stay we had with this hotel. Worth recommending to friends. Worth my 5stars. Worth a repeat. (Ofcourse, not to mention the obvious for a resort—perfect location, complete amenities, fair rate, good food, etc.) Read less
