Excellent hotel, location and service. Very happy I chose this hotel to stay for the 10 days I was here to do business. The room package included resort fee, parking and a daily hotel credit for dining. Can't wait to come back with the family.

We chose to travel to Hawaii due to the safety measures in place- everything went super smooth, and we felt safe and comfortable the entire trip. This resort was wonderful!! The location was probable my favorite part. You walk out of the lobby, and your just steps from the beach, with restaurants within close walking distance either direction. There were a few shops still closed within the resort, and surrounding area, due to Covid, but it did not affect our vacation in any way. Plenty of restaurants open to eat. The resort was absolutely clean and beautiful, and the staff was amazingly friendly!!! I can’t even begin to say enough good things about how kind and helpful all the staff was. The crowds were non existent during our stay, and it was wonderful. The beach in the area of the Hyatt was perfect too. There were a few homeless along the street, but this did not affect us in any way. There was a strong, affective presence of law enforcement, and they were all so kind and helpful. My husband and I definitely felt Safe, for being a big city type location. Read less

The hotel is class as 5 star hotel but in Asia this won’t even make 3 star classification. The hotel it self need major update and the rooms look like it had it days. Service from the team was poor, no one help with baggage and communication with reception was poor. Only plus point is the hotel w is in great location overlooking the sea

I'm a Hyatt fan just not this one. In true Hyatt form, the location is central to major attractions (Waikiki Beach). However, with that comes the street noise of the Waikiki strip. This made it hard to sleep. The rooms need major renovation. The whole property appeared dated. It is a part of Hyatt resorts, but my stay felt more like staying at a convention center hotel rather than a beach resort which is not what guests anticipate or pay for when going on a beach vacation. I don't remember the presence of the hotel staff offering assistance or providing any memorable customer service. That speaks volumes. Most of the hotel dining was not located in the hotel but around the hotel. This property is not a dump, but for a true beach resort vacation, I would recommend staying at one of the many smaller resorts across the street where you get direct beach access with less noise.
