Part of the Outrigger family, this is a premier hotel with well-equipped, spacious guest rooms ensuring a comfortable holiday base. The location is fantastic too, directly overlooking beautiful Waikiki Beach and just a stone's throw from shops, bars and restaurants. Even people who aren't staying here tend to wander into the lobby as it's filled with rare and historic Hawaiian artefacts, including a century-old koa canoe! The Hula Grill Waikiki is another local attraction, serving scrumptious breakfasts and romantic dinners beside the ocean. Duke's Waikiki is also right on the beach and perfect for an evening meal, complete with regular live music and hula performances. The swimming pool is beachside so you can enjoy the views of the sparkling blue waters, wherever you choose to set up camp for the day.

My first introduction was with an Outrigger Front Desk personal named "Grace"... ...friendly, knowledgeable, professional and went well beyond efforts to make us feel welcome. ..she is definitely an Ambassador for the Outrigger chain of hotels. Because of her efforts, the next day check-in was well organized and quick! The rest of the staff at the hotel were also extremely friendly! Rooms were clean and extremely comfortable! Highly recommend staying at the OUTRIGGER Waikiki Resort.

Great spot!

This is a great spot! It’s a perfect location and the beach is a dream! The pool does get busy so you want to snag your spot early. I would definitely stay there again. This is also a budget friendly spot. Duke’s is a great spot to eat and it’s in the building.
Nice location right on the beach. Good atmosphere. We will be back. Food in restaurants was very good.

Food in restaurants was good. Food in lounge was disappointing. Small selection, not always hot, average at best. Room on 16 was large and comfortable with nice balcony. Aging, but very warm and Hawaiian. Mirrors and surfaces were not very clean. Towels and shower good. Bed very comfortable. Location was great and resort vibe in the hotel. Service was fast and polite. We had an AC problem and it was corrected in 20 minutes. Pool, lounge and restaurants directly overlooking the beach. We had friends that were at other nearby hotels that were envious of ours. We will be back!

Best spot on Waikiki Beach
Oct 29, 2024Patricia T
The view from our ocean view room is fantastic. We paid for the upgrade but it was definitely worth it. Rudolf at reception was extremely helpful and friendly. Having filtered water stations around the resort is great and you get a take home souvenir aluminium bottle. Hula pie from Duke's is a must. Lots of restaurants nearby and shopping.
Best Experience Thanks to Mikala!

Loved every min of it especially working with Mikala! She's made this trip absolutely memorable and the stay pleasurable. We enjoyed the ocean front view, the live music from dukes and just overall, we couldn't be happier. Will Def be coming back here! Thank you for everything!
