Unfortunately they did not address any of the issues we faced. I was nervous about booking this hotel as we stayed here 8 years ago and it was great but it has really gone downhill. I should have listened to the other reviews and booked elsewhere. There are much better options in waikiki. Pros: Location, beds are super comfy, pool staff are amazing Cons: Dated rooms, pool is very cold, spotty wifi, nickle and diming customers for everything. Read less

We stayed in a Princess Pool View King in the Princess Wing which was a good size. Our room was on the top floor, so we could see some ocean over the Moana Surfrider hotel across the street. The balcony was a great place for an afternoon wine before dinner. The bathroom was very small and the fixtures dated but everything worked and we don’t choose a hotel because the bathroom is pretty. The location is superb, a two minute walk to the beach, surrounded by bars and restaurants. Because it is not beachfront, the rates are a little lower, but it feels like a beachfront hotel. Read less

The two reasons we booked the hotel was cost vs other hotels in the area and location. And we are completely happy with our choice! As lots of reviews indicate, the hotel is dated for sure. But, we didn’t come to Oahu to be in our hotel room. The beds are super comfy and the room is clean. No noise complaints really - you are in a busy area… Read more
The two reasons we booked the hotel was cost vs other hotels in the area and location. And we are completely happy with our choice! As lots of reviews indicate, the hotel is dated for sure. But, we didn’t come to Oahu to be in our hotel room. The beds are super comfy and the room is clean. No noise complaints really - you are in a busy area so there is outside noise but nothing that kept us up. Air conditioning works great. Friendly staff. We only eat breakfast at the hotel - free continental (fruit, yogurt and a pastry) with platinum status. There’s WAAAAY too many great places to eat in Waikiki and surrounding area. The pool area is totally fine to take a dip and relax but Waikiki beach is right across the street so there’s also that 😍 You just can’t beat the location. Rent bikes out front. Jump on one of the many trolleys. Enterprise Car Rental location about a 5-10 minute walk away. Opens at 9:00 am and offers after hours drop off so you can rent for the day, drop it back in the evening and not pay the crazy hotel parking rate…. $40 or $50 USD per day. Tons of shopping near by (majority high end … think LV/Burberry/ etc) but still a few other more mainstream options as well. Tons of ABC convenience stores - on every corner! Would totally stay again - unless we do a condo w kitchen somewhere in the area. But if not, would not hesitate to book again! Read less

Hotel is old, we booked through my cruises and were given a room with a double bed that was very uncomfortable. In room services are limited and all items are throw away. Location is great walking distance to most things. The activities desk lady was great and provided good information on how to get around.
