Ummm...so the photographer whose pics are used on the website should win an award. Definitely not the chic-boutique hotel it’s made out to be. The 21 year-old version of me would’ve been okay staying here- but that’s only if I was drunk the whole time. The 21 year-old version of me would’ve been okay staying here- but that’s only if I was drunk the whole time. It’s very loud (and I’m not talking about the color scheme), the pillows had the scent of ocean water (which had been sitting in someone’s hair all day), and the building reminded me of my first college apartment- a gentrified urban housing project. If you’re trying to live it up Vegas style on the cheap, this is for you. Otherwise, spend the extra $100 and go up the the street to the Marriott or something. Finally, please please please think twice about bringing your children here. Read less

Hotel is middle of everything - if you don't mind the noise. Had very nice view of ocean, beyond the parking garage on 13th floor, that's actually a plus. Live music from Cuckoo Coconuts Waikiki was great - cuz you can definitely hear it since it's around the corner, but never ran pass 10pm (noise ordinance). Housekeeping and staff was very… Read more

Live music from Cuckoo Coconuts Waikiki was great - cuz you can definitely hear it since it's around the corner, but never ran pass 10pm (noise ordinance). Housekeeping and staff was very polite. The welcome munchie kit and 2 free water bottles a day were great! Only miss was tho it was "renovated" last year and the 60's retro theme was nice, you can definitely see some eyesores like outlet socket face plate didn't fit and some painted over, the carpeting needs a really good deep clean and bathroom has seen better days - this from a junior suite. But I'd definitely come back to stay - staff, 10% off Heavenly Cafe, and location makes it worth it. If you book directly from hotel, you can get a room discount and waived amenity fees - look under offers link. Read less

Such a shame this hotel... as you walk in it’s so colourful and Vibrant. I walked to the front desk and ended up standing waiting 5 minutes for the man to look up and serve me. Such a shame this hotel... as you walk in it’s so colourful and Vibrant. I walked to the front desk and ended up standing waiting 5 minutes for the man to look up and serve me. Not something you want after a flight from Australia. He was then so rude.. then looked very excited and happy saying hello to the young model couple walking past. Went to our room and it was tiny. We had our baby with us and our travel cot so when that was set up you could hardly move in the room. The bathroom is so small when you step out of the shower make sure to not to get your towel in the toilet. Doors slam from other rooms and woke us all up many times a night. The list seriously goes on. Every staff member we dealt with was rude. And I believe it’s because we don’t have the look they want to attract people to stay. We stayed for 5 days too long. Only good thing was it was pretty close to shops/food. heavenly downstairs is a nice place to eat too. Save your money and go elsewhere especially if you have a baby/child or an older couple. Shoreline had very colorful mod decor. Very clean and amazing location if you want to be right in the heart of town. I was there to go diving so it was super easy for the dive company to pick me up. Easy check in and check out. Great value would definitely stay there again.
