The hotel

Situated right at the end of Waikiki Beach, just across the road from that soft, powdery sand, this large friendly hotel is in a slightly quieter spot than some other hotels and offers a fun and playful atmosphere. The rooms are decorated in a colourful, tropical style. On the 3rd floor, Tiki's Grill & Bar is a cool hangout with a real Hawaiian atmosphere — there's tasty locally sourced dishes, live entertainment and an outdoor terrace to sip a cocktail as you watch the sun set.

We had a fantastic 10 day stay at the Twin Fin. All the staff we encountered were great. Special mention to the front desk staff and our amazing housekeeper. We stayed in a partial ocean view, and we were not disappointed. The view was perfect for us. The king room was large enough and we had a private balcony. The room was clean and had everything we needed. No complaints at all. The exit door had a perfect view of Diamond Head too. Location was perfect. You could walk everywhere, but we also hired a car for 5 days and the valet service was great. We never waited more than 10 minutes for our car. We loved Tiki's Bar and Grill, and the poolside service was a great option on the days you just wanted to relax. Overall we had a memorable time at the Twin Fin and would definitely stay again. Great position, walk to just about everything. Shuttle buses at door. Staff friendly and got a great, walk in deal. Room clean and spacious with a cute balcony and of course ocean view as we splurged for an oceanfront position. Right opposite the swimming area. Zoo is literally around the corner.

The Twin Fin was a great surprise! We needed something very last minute, and the staff made sure we were well taken care of~ We went with adults and 9 year old. The pool is just right for splashing around in and warm. Tikis was a great place to grab dinner and drinks late onsite after we landed; they even had a great live duo playing. Our view from the two doubles was lovely, little bit of city up to the mountains and a lot of Waikiki. We had an awesome view of Diamond Head and the zoo flamingos from the hallway. We had breakfast both mornings, and we really liked the selection (three entrees to choose plus fruit and pastries). All of the employees we interacted with on the phone and in person were top notch friendly. We get to Honolulu a few times a year, and we will 100% stay again and recommend to friends and family. The beds are comfy and everything was clean. The Pink Trolley Line to Ala Moana stops at the door and the zoo is just across the street behind the building. Location was central in Waikiki. Pool was nice and inviting. Restaurants, food and service were great. Check in/out was easy. Rooms were nice but no frills. Views from our room/lanai was beautiful. Having coffee maker in room was nice. Mahalo
