The hotel

Situated right at the end of Waikiki Beach, just across the road from that soft, powdery sand, this large friendly hotel is in a slightly quieter spot than some other hotels and offers a fun and playful atmosphere. The rooms are decorated in a colourful, tropical style. On the 3rd floor, Tiki's Grill & Bar is a cool hangout with a real Hawaiian atmosphere — there's tasty locally sourced dishes, live entertainment and an outdoor terrace to sip a cocktail as you watch the sun set.

645 rooms on 20 floors in the main tower. All with air-conditioning, balcony, TV with pay-per-view films, WiFi*, coffee maker, mini-fridge and safe. City View Rooms are on the lower floors, with 2 double beds or 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Partial Ocean View Rooms, Ocean View Rooms and Oceanfront Rooms, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Tiki's Bar & Grill (Pacific Rim cuisine and live entertainment, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner), Wolfgang Puck Express (all-day light bites), Subway, Cookie Corner, Ku’Ai Market (convenience store). Clean and comfortable. Staff were very pleasant; room was large. Great location to the beach, restaurants, shops etc. Straight across the road from the beach. Hotel supplies beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, paddle boards etc free to rent.

We were charged a smoke elimination fee of $350 USD plus tax after we left, absolutely unacceptable. Will never stay at this hotel again. In addition the manager was disrespectful and arrogant and refused to remove the charge. The Twin Fin should be ashamed of themselves for stealing from their customers. Be cautious.

Older hotel with a great location on Waikiki. If you have a car be sure you’re prepared for the valet costs. No self parking anywhere. Take advantage of the beach amenities and the nightly sunset views from the pool or restaurant.

Loved the hotel, great location, great bar/restaurant. The views from the room were outstanding and the front counter personnel was great specially Michelle Sabater thumbs up for her!!! Can wait to go back and spend more time

Located right next to the beach, access to daily free toys, next door to the zoo, multiple great night spots on the block, and the 24th floor breakfast is not to be missed...the view is incredible. Snorkeling and boogie boarding right out front of the walkway-photo spot...a large pufferfish and an octopus swam up to us. I highly recommend The Twin Fin. Read less
