Stayed here over night with my family. What a nice place. Could use a bit more housekeeping efforts, but all in all a very lovely place. The privacy for each family member is what makes this place so good. Being on a Lake front unit is a must

We were very pleased with our stay and like this hotel because it is dog friendly. We have a Bernese Mountain Dog who loves the snow and it’s so fun bringing her to Tahoe. The staff is friendly and the hotel is beautiful. We will be back!

Returned to Lake Tahoe 43 years after our honeymoon here. Kind of a last minute plan but we found a room at the Hyatt that was a good size with king bed and sofa with good reviews. The staff is very accommodating and genuine in their efforts to please for the most part. We ended up finding out we needed a new battery when temps reached low teens a couple of nights. First time the valet had a jump box and we were off and running. Second time the jump box was dead and I asked the valet if they had another, they didn’t, I said thanks and told them I’d call AAA and the valet said great. We planned to go down to Reno that day and get a new battery as we were staying 6 nights. We were parked in the valet lot with the hood still up and I was getting ready to call AAA when a valet named Brian walked by on his way get someone’s car and saw us. He asked if he could help, I told him the jump box was dead but thanks. He immediately asked if we had jumper cables (we did) and told us he’d be right back with the hotel shuttle suv. 10 minutes later we were good to go and headed to Reno for a battery. Thanks Brian, guessing you take Hyatt’s customer service goals to heart. The other valets weren’t rude by any means but this young man “gets it” as a volunteer in the hospitality business. Great job😊 Everything else was good, clean room, loved the “text what you need” program (towels, coffee etc), worked each time. Our only complaints about the room were the lack of windows, probably a 20’ plus wall facing the courtyard and pools but a weird 6’ window in one corner that took away from the great mountain view. Almost claustrophobic but not quite. Also, the back of the bathroom door was pretty beat up (maybe a prior pet customer ?) otherwise in good condition. Room (609) was comfy and well stocked. The hotel does a great gingerbread advent calendar wall for December and for Thanksgiving week they bring out cider, hot chocolate and cookies each evening and the items are good quality. The hotel has a great shuttle service, we only used it once but they will take you anywhere locally as needed. Casino is well maintained with a good bar staff and the gift shop is well stocked. The hotel restaurant was very good, if you eat at CutThroats saloon, ask for Mikey’s section, great service and someone who enjoys his job😊. They also have a coffee/pastry grab and go shop that is very good. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come again. Read less
