Wonderful stay, relaxing! The resort is walking distance from the Hyatt's private beach. Quick access to the pool. A variety of restaurants on site and a few are walking distance and across from the hotel.

Hyatt was a wonderful place to have our business trip for over 50 in our group. The food was superb and the hotel staff did a wonderful job taking care of our every need. The hotel planner for our meeting was great to work with and was very prompt to returning calls and/or emails.

My friends invited me to the Stillwater Spa at the Hyatt for my birthday. We’ve been to this facility twice before and we expected to enjoy a wonderful massage, spend some time catching up in the hot tub, order drinks at the pool; In short, we planned to enjoy some peaceful and relaxing time in good company. This time the experience was quite different though. We were literally rushed out of the place after the massage. They did offer us a bottle of water (no tea), in a room with no views, no sauna or any other spa amenities. When we asked about the exterior pool, they said we could access that area, but we needed to leave the robes and sandals provided at the spa. In other words, we would need to change twice to go to the pool, if you know the place you’ll know the pool is literally attached to the spa and it has always had direct access in prior visits. Of course, I understand that there are restrictions due to COVID, though we were not informed of all of them prior to our visit. We did complain upon exiting and chose to skip the pool as the moment of relaxation had passed. Hours later we received an e-mail from the spa manager (not a call), reminding us that we could go back to the pool area. (??) I think she missed the whole point. This situation didn’t ruin my birthday at all, but I just wish we had gone directly to any gorgeous beach on Lake Tahoe and skip the $240/1h. spa experience. It was disappointing. Read less
