Just completed an anniversary trip, first time to Lake Tahoe. My husband and I did not want to leave! The hotel felt very safe - enforcing mask rules and keeping everything SO clean. We stayed in a Lakeside Cottage Upper. The view was breathtaking. Wonderful to have the extra space and our own fireplace. The bathrooms are in need of upgrades, but overall that was such a small bit in comparison. Breakfast was included since we are Hyatt members. Lone Eagle Grille was delicious! Awesome views. They also gave us a champagne toast and s’mores kit upon check-in. We did a lot of stuff around town, which is also amazing, but we never felt bad going back to our cottage to relax. It was peaceful, so quiet. Lots of animals to watch. Also, we loved how dog friendly the whole area was! We didn’t want to leave and I can’t wait to go back soon! Front Desk staff was SO nice. Jason, awesome. Read less

Hotel was very nice. Hard to get oriented if you arrive late and are staying in a “cottage.” Know ahead of time. Be forewarned these rooms are across the street from the hotel. No hand sanitizer at entrance to cottage. Beautiful setting. Nice room with balcony. Free s’mores. Would go back.
