Golden Nugget Las Vegas

Downtown, Las Vegas

The hotel

Boasting some of Las Vegas’ finest rooms and suites after a $380 million dollar transformation, it’s easy to understand why. The accommodation is divided between four majestic towers with wonderful views of the Las Vegas Strip, the Spring Mountains and the hotel’s incredible pool. Then there's the Tank, as the swimming complex is known, comes complete with a shark tank, 3-storey waterslide and 13 private cabanas for hire. There’s also an infinity pool, aptly named The Hideout, which is strictly for adults only. Other temptations include a superb spa with steam rooms, sauna, massage and beauty treatments plus a state-of-the-art fitness centre to work off those American-sized portions! Several restaurants are at your disposal, including Vic and Anthony’s, one of the country’s finest steakhouses. Alternatively, head to Chart House for sumptuous seafood, Lillie’s for Pan-Asian cuisine or Grotto for Italian fare. Come sundown, Troy Liquor Bar is the place to be with a lively atmosphere, DJs and exotic cocktails. An incredible hotel with an incredible range of amenities, look out in particular for the Hand of Faith in the lobby - a 61-pound gold nugget found in Australia in 1980 with a metal detector just six inches below ground – now that’s Lady Luck at her finest!

This was my second visit to Vegas and my son's fourth or fifth visit. We love the Fremont Experience so chose the Golden Nugget. The room was okay, clean, and quiet. It didn't have much when it came to amenities. For $40.00 more a night we could have a coffee maker. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I'm sure I could get my fill for less than 40.00 a… Read more

The restaurants were pricey, and the buffet was closed the night we wanted to eat there. Fortunately there were other buffets nearby. Read less

I left a very good recommendation for the Golden Nugget and Fremont Street but I fail to add a suggestion. The Fremont Street Experience can be very loud and run well into the night. I’ve always ask for a room in their Carson Tower, the higher the better. I’ve never been disturbed there. My friend has stayed in the newest tower and despite… Read more

My friend has stayed in the newest tower and despite being closer to The Street, she was not bothered by noise. Just go and enjoy! Read less

From check-in the front desk professional, timely and efficient. Specifically, applauds to Giselle, Front Desk- EXCELLENT! She is attentive, quick, efficient and thorough. Do not know if she is still there but hope if you check in you come across Giselle, she starts the stay perfectly. After flying and baggage its just really great to have the front desk be on point. The lines were long but you do NOT feel the constraint of waiting. For that we are grateful and if we have to go to Vegas then Golden Nugget is where we stay. Prices great, food is great, rooms nice especially high floor for quiet, beds are comfortable for good sleep. Starbucks is in the house too! Thank you to ownership and management for great looking hotel and even better excellent employees like Giselle Read less

Location is great. Alot of activities taking place at night on the Fremont street. The hotel was busy but it was properly maintained. There are a couple of restaurants within the hotel itself and a Starbucks.

Stayed at Golden Nugget as usual, but this time I checked in at a little bit after 2:00PM & was greeted with the dreaded, never before used on me a firm "Early Check In" fee. $30.00 +$3.90 tax. Bad!!!
