The Platinum Hotel

East Of Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

Vegas is famous for it’s gambling, partying, and all round vibrant atmosphere. But sometimes it can be nice to take this in from a step back, with a more peaceful hotel suite to return to after a hectic day. Here’s where the Platinum Hotel comes in. An all-suite hotel that’s just over a block away from the strip – quick and easy to access, but you’re not in the middle of a bustling casino as soon as you step out of your room! Another advantage of this hotel compared to those on the strip is that you can take a dip in the pool all year round – it’s heated and is both indoors and outdoors, perfect for those cooler months. There’s a great feeling of space in your suite, complete with kitchen facilities so you can dine in if it takes your fancy, but there is the Stir Lounge open downstairs serving a tasty menu and happy hour drinks if that takes preference. This really is your oasis within the playground that is Sin City.

The hotel is fine, clean and easily accessible to the Strip. The rooms are big and comfortable. I just felt like the check in should be a bit more professional. The people working were all very nice, but Im going to be picky. I felt like they should be in uniform and using a sharpie on the key card holders etc. felt a bit motel-ish. I know that… Read more

The people working were all very nice, but Im going to be picky. I felt like they should be in uniform and using a sharpie on the key card holders etc. felt a bit motel-ish. I know that it’s not an expensive hotel but I think everyone should wear a uniform shirt or at least all the same color shirt. It makes it feel nicer, also having someone to help with luggage and or doors too. Or put in automatic doors. As I said I’m being picky, but just my thoughts. Overall, the room was nice as were the employees and they accommodated us when we needed to switch rooms. (We asked for a strip view and were given a room on the wrong side.) Read less

The staff is very attentive and friendly. I had booked a room with a king bed but was upgraded for two queen beds instead so my daughter had her own bed. We didn’t even had to ask . They are really committed to provide exceptional service. The room was very clean and very spacious, overall it was a great experience and would definitely stay here… Read more

Excellent customer service, very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and the property is very well kept. And the massage at the Spa was excellent. Nice bar with great drinks and food. Breakfast was wonderful. The pool area is very clean with a gorgeous pool.

The Platinum Hotel exceeded every expectation we had. We picked this hotel due to its easy walkable proximity to The Sphere and the fact we didn’t want to pay four times the price at the Venetian (plus costly parking, which is free at The Platinum)! We were greeted at the door by charming Ray. We had arrived very early, around 10:30 a.m., and asked the fabulous Fernando at the front desk, if we could do the pre-check-in paperwork so we’d be good to go when our suite was ready. He offered us an available suite if we’d change to a different bed configuration. YES, please! He then offered us a complimentary bottle of wine! The suite was incredible. It was spacious, clean and very well appointed. (We LOVED how the coffee table in the living room has a huge listing of the TV channels on it!). We even had a fantastic view of The Sphere. I will stay here again when I return to Las Vegas, even if I’m not going to a show at The Sphere. Fernando, Ray (and Shania) are an asset to the Platinum. Read less

Good location. 15mins walking distance to Sphere and Strip. Very quiet. Room is spacious and the bed and sofa bed are very comfortable. You can cook in the room if you don’t want to eat outside. The one thing we really like the room has washer and dryer. Free parking, a lot of parking spots. Highly recommend.
