Flamingo

The Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

This historic hotel was built by Vegas legend, Bugsy Siegel back in 1946 and it's seen countless celebrities walk through its doors in the last 60 years, as well as being the backdrop for the original Ocean's Eleven film and Viva Las Vegas. It has an amazing location right in the middle of The Strip and near the fantastic Caesars Forum Shops, with award-winning Flamingo Go Rooms. The hotel is great for kids with its amazing Beach Club Pool. The GO Pool offers a 21+ lively pool party experience with its amazing 15-acre tropical pool paradise, which has whirlpools and four different swimming pools nestled among the lush, green foliage. Then there's the Wildlife Habitat, where the resort's eponymous flamingos hang out with turtles, swans and ducks. There's a choice of eight restaurants including Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville and Margaritaville Casino, featuring the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar. Margaritaville is as much a state of mind as it is a place. The multi-level Caribbean-themed entertainment venue offers two outdoor patios overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, a nautical-themed restaurant, five distinctive bars, live entertainment nightly (both indoors and outdoors) and a 3,000-sq ft retail store. You can also eat outside by the pool or even enjoy a spot of gambling in the pool casino located at the GO Pool! At the Margaritaville Casino at the Flamingo, guests feel the energy of the Las Vegas strip while enjoying the laid-back vibe of the islands.

Typical Caesar’s Entertainment Property. No cleaning, rooms are filthy, pool is run by amateurs. Lots of people not really wearing masks. Mangers are robots and don’t care about any issues, they don’t even seem to want to be there. I’d be shocked if this corporation isn’t in Bankruptcy again after just getting out of Bankruptcy less the 4… Read more

Adult pool rest of facility - hardly any one in there. New checkin system very poorly managed. ended up having to wait in two lines. First for self checkin and they could not do our reservation so had to go back and wait over 30 minutes to check in the second time. If you cant help with first line you should move person over to front of second line. Walls thin. Was awaken by a lady screaming match for over an hour next door at 2 a.m. Read less

I've never stayed at the hotel but I play blackjack here every trip. The tables aren't overpriced, the dealers are wonderful and it's a lot of fun. They are doing good social distancing now, so that's great, too. I also have to single out someone... Stacy at the cashier was incredible. Nicest lady ever and so incredibly helpful to me with a… Read more

What they don’t tell you is there is a virtual wait list you need to sign up for and they will randomly text you when your spot is ready and you only have ten minutes to get there and check in. So we waited close by for over 4 hours to never receive a text!! Wasted our whole day and never got in the pool area. I come to Vegas 5-6 times a year and this was probably the biggest waste of a trip thanks to the Flamingo!!! Read less
