Bellagio

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

Epically romantic, you may recognise the luxurious Bellagio as George Clooney and crew’s scene-stealing co-star from Ocean’s Eleven. But then, thanks to its world-famous dancing fountains (some of which shoot 460ft into the Vegas sky), the Bellagio has a habit of making any night along The Strip an unforgettable event. Look beyond the eight-acre Lago di Como and you’ll find head-turning elegance in a hotel that’s inspired by a picturesque Italian village. Rooms and suites are sumptuous without being flashy, there’s a gallery of fine art with rotating exhibitions, five pools with a refreshing Mediterranean accent, O, Cirque du Soleil’s® water-based extravaganza.

Top notch hotel suite, restaurants, and casino host. Casino slots were above average compared to other hotels. Lago and Jasmine restaurants had delicious offerings and dessert was yummy. Pricey but worth the price and ambience. Less rowdy crowds which is a good for me.

For the money, I'm not certain I would stay here again. Our water from bathroom faucet had a faint sulfer smell to it. Plus, lines for check in and check out were long. My $100 credit was not automatically applied. I had to stand in long line and bring that to their attention.

Loved it, the room was comfortable, quiet and luxurious. Perfect for a first time visit to Vegas. We enjoyed visiting the pools too. Nice temperature, plenty of loungers and a couple of bars to choose from whilst relaxing outside. The location was good, felt safe and easy to access other places.

Paid for a suite but not as I expected. Previous peoples gift basket items left behind. Then house keeping came twice to get items. There was a slow drain in shower with a slight odor and resulted in filling up with water. A garbage bag was left in the closet.
