Bellagio

The Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

Epically romantic, you may recognise the luxurious Bellagio as George Clooney and crew’s scene-stealing co-star from Ocean’s Eleven. But then, thanks to its world-famous dancing fountains (some of which shoot 460ft into the Vegas sky), the Bellagio has a habit of making any night along The Strip an unforgettable event. Look beyond the eight-acre Lago di Como and you’ll find head-turning elegance in a hotel that’s inspired by a picturesque Italian village. Rooms and suites are sumptuous without being flashy, there’s a gallery of fine art with rotating exhibitions, five pools with a refreshing Mediterranean accent, O, Cirque du Soleil’s® water-based extravaganza.

It was my first time staying with Bellagio and also first time in Las Vegas on family vacation. We selected the room rate that included the $75 dining credit hoping it would offset some of the high dining cost on the Strip. The location was as awesome as expected, centrally to everything on the strip. It as easy to get to any other MGM properties for shows (4D in Excalibur, Blueman Group in Luxor, Zipline in Linq) as well as Bally's for tour out to the Hoover dam. The check-in process was easy and the staff were very friendly. It took less than 10 minutes to get our physical keys since I was already mobile checked-in. While room was the basic Resort Queen room with a view over the slight view of the Strip as expected, there is a lack of amenity given the star rating and the Bellagio brand. The reservation was for four people, but there were only two sets of towels, and minimum amount of amenity (one set of shampoo/conditioner and soap). On the other hand, the house keeping was responsive such that they brought a bag of ALL amenities less than 15 minutes after we called. The room itself was fairly clean, but the fixture in the restroom were quite old and not what I would expect for a 5-star hotel. For example, the shower door does not closely properly, and the hot water faucet was leaking. We did not report the problem just because although it caused inconvenience, it was not critical to our stay. The $75 dining credit were applicable to "selected" restaurants on MGM properties, but given the Bellagio buffet was mediocre, we had hard time to determine where to use these credits throughout our stay. Also, the $75 was not accumulative but rather per night/day, so we had to have at least one meal per day on MGM property. While Bellagio buffer was not the best, the Saddle's Cafe and Noodles do offer quite excellent food. In short, the stay this time was a bit disappointing for a 5-STAR hotel. Given my experiences with other MGM properties, I'd opt for other properties with better rate and better facilities. Read less

I took my mom to the Bellagio on a girls trip to Vegas for her 75th birthday. It was a wonderful place to celebrate her special day! The room was amazing and staff was very nice. Housekeeping was exemplary and we loved café Gelato! We had a very nice fountain view which was very special!

My stay at the Bellagio was great for my buddies 40th birthday .This hotel is one the better ones on the strip . They keep it clean and fresh even though it is a smoking facility i was never consumed by the smoke smell. I will definitely be visiting in the near future .

The Bellagio is a beautiful hotel and the location is great. We went to the Mayfair Supper Club and is was great! It may be more expensive than other hotels, but my friends and I thought it was worth it.

Beautiful hotel/casino. Very friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. Lovely clean spacious rooms. Can get anything you want or need in the hotel. The only negative was the price of drinks in the shops. Would highly recommend a stay at the Bellagio and will definitely stay there again.
