Our view was the back of Planet Hollywood, not so great, but was also able to see Paris light up at night, as well as a few other hotels. The hotel is right in the middle of everything, so we likely could have walked around easily, but we chose to just grab a taxi to all our locations, which was very convenient. We rented a cabana on Friday and lounged by pool all day, which was WELL WORTH IT! The servers will bring you your drinks if you're in the pool. Customer Service for the most part was good throughout the hotel. Special shout out to front desk clerk Orlando, who was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. Recrnt visit our room was opened by housekeeping and items were stolen. Hotel security said they have to let insurance company figure it out. Canned apology from Elara, but no refund. Have seen several posts about stolen items from rooms, and sounds like housekeeping is responsible. Never will go back there.

Who: 5 women celebrating a milestone birthday (40) When: April 2022 (one of the BTS concert weekends) We all liked this hotel. For 5 people I reserved a 3 bedroom suite back in Dec 2021 (BTS announced their April concert dates in Feb) for a reasonable rate for 3 bedrooms. Around $700 a night (that was including all the taxes, resort fee, etc). In March when I looked at prices the price was over $2000/night. We were there a Thursday-Monday. I think? the BTS concert was why we couldn't get an upgrade (who knows) when we checked in. Our suite was on the 8th floor and we still loved it. We didn't face the strip but I loved the view of the mountains and we could see airplanes take off and land at a nearby airport (not LAS). There was some street noise; it bothered some of us more than others. We checked in around 1pm on a Thursday (we stayed 5 nights); the suite wasn't ready but they texted us at 2:30pm. Usually when I check into a hotel with amenities the desk person gives a little orientation about stuff like: you get your free coffee at the Starbucks (obvs), the pool hours are this, etc. My big tip is: ask about these things when you check in. Then you save your frustration at trying to use your Starbucks coupon at 3pm only to find out hey the lobby Starbucks closes at 1 or 2pm every day (2pm Fri/Sat/Sun). The pool hours were not posted (anywhere I could see). I called for extra hangers at 4pm that check in day only to be on hold for over an hour; no one ever picked up and it was time to go to dinner. I called at 8am the next morning and got a quick response and 10 (max) extra hangers brought right away. The pool hours were 10am to 5 or 6pm (can't remember) and it was $75 (on a Saturday) to get a daybed. Not sure if you could reserve or not. It was a sunny hot (80+ degrees) Saturday and there was a line at 9:45am when some of us walked through the lobby to go get breakfast. To get your free water you went to a separate desk in the lobby; my friend went to get the 2 bottles of water and the representative was very insistent that I (my name was on the reservation) come back the next time as I was a "partial owner". The only thing I owned in that hotel was the stuff in my suitcase. I get it - it's a timeshare, and my friends called me a partial owner for the next few days. womp womp. Also we never went back for more water; we just bought a 12 pack at Walgreens. It wasn't worth the inconvenience. We also got coffee creamer at Walgreens; didn't see any at the ABC store in the mall. The DVD Now coupons can be used at a kiosk that is in a sitting area between check in and the Starbucks. We never used the coupons (as I suspect most guests do not either). I called housekeeping on the second full day to ask about why the trash hadn't been taken out; was told that I had needed to opt in at check in. I can wash my own coffee cups and can reuse towels no problem but please don't make me pile up the garbage. I promptly opted in for the rest of the stay. The coffee maker was interesting - you could use the coffee packets from the hotel; we had brought basket filters (not the flat ones) and a bag of ground coffee. But there is no pot; you use your mug to push and release the coffee. Not a big deal but at 7am with a foggy head it seemed to take a lot of brain cells. I did use the combo washer/dryer and had no problem. It had no musty/mildew smell and to use the dryer function you just push the dryer button. But I can see how people would get confused because it sounds like it's going to wash the clothes again. But it really does the drying part. I set the dryer for a really long time; like 2 hours (at home it would be 50 minutes) and I only washed undies/t-shirts/socks. I would think washing a sweatshirt or jeans could be done but your drying time would be super super long. Loved the location and that it was a non-casino (therefore non-smoking) hotel. Loved having a suite so we weren't texting all the time "where are you?". We went to La Salsa Cantina for their breakfast special (around $5) and their $2 Bloody Mary's (which were probably 6 ounces but were still very tasty). We went to Ocean One Grill for lunch (worth the wait and the surly hostess) and for breakfast (La Salsa was much better). The Starbucks line every morning was crazy long after 8am so we got our fancy coffees at the Coffee Bean in the Miracle Mile Mall attached to the hotel (but it's at the furthest point away in the mall from the hotel). Oh and I used Five Star Limo from/to the airport (Presidential was sold out for a stretch and that's what we needed for 5 people); wasn't in love with Five Star and would try to get Presidential next time. Maybe it was that you could do Five Star online and you had to call Presidential. I will definitely call Presidential next time. Yes it's only a 10/15 minute ride but both drivers were just meh. And for a celebration trip meh was disappointing. Would I/we stay again? Absolutely. But I could ask about the amenities; if the hours/prices for things were on the website I wouldn't have made it the title. And I read a lot about hotels before I go on a trip. After a long plane ride from the East Coast, it would have been nice to know these things ahead of time. Read less

We rented a daybed for our last day there. He brought us pillows for our backs, always made sure we were happy, and told me I needed to put more sunscreen on…lol…which I did. My only small complaint is the pool is a little cooler than most hotels here. Great stay, thank you! Read less

We had a timeshare exchange into the Elara and had a 2 bedroom suite with a huge lounge with full height panoramic windows. It also had electric blinds which made a projector screen for the TV which husband loved!! The unit itself is huge, very spacious, main bedroom had a jaccuzzi bath (not just a bath tub but a square jaccuzzzi) next to the bed!! (Very Vegas)!. Lovely kitchen with dishwasher and great counter for sitting at with comfortable stools. The resort is situated within the Miracle Mile shops so it is easy and safe to get to without having to walk down any side streets. Come out of the Miracle Mile and you are opposite the Cosmopolitan and then the Bellagio so very central position. We have stopped at other Hilton Grand Vacations in Vegas but we do like the position of this one. Swimming pool is great although fairly busy and very little shade unless you pay for a cabana. All in all I would definitely recommend a stay at the Elara. No casino in the hotel but that is sometimes a plus. Read less
