Need I say more?!?!! Worst view I've ever had here in Las Vegas. And they are going to try to sell this to me?!?! All the concrete blocked my cell service even. What a joke!!! They would not change rooms either even Sunday after people checked out.

The hotel was beautiful, I was very happy with all of the staff. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. My biggest complaint was the pool area due to not being able to bring your own food and drinks other than water. They even check your bag before entering the pool area. The hotel provides you with a room with a refrigerator, microwave and dishes so you can go to a store to and buy drinks and food but you can't bring any of the food/drinks you bought to the pool area. You have to buy their drinks and food. Come on Hilton, do you really need to charge 12.00 for a very small bloody mary. The food prices were not that bad but the bar prices were ridiculous. Read less

My husband and I recently visited Las Vegas as part of a time-share presentation package for Hilton Honors members. We had a choice between two hotels and I chose the Elara because it's located right on the strip and within walking distance to most everything. The lobby and pool area looked very nice as we were checking in but once we got to our room on the 19th floor we were sorely disappointed. The room was very dated and not very well maintained. There weren't any outlets for our devices (phone, tablets) near the bed so we had them charging on the floor all around the room. The TV did not have streaming channels only direct TV and if you wanted to watch a movie you had to use the in-room DVD player. Very 90's. Complimentary DVDs were available in the lobby but the kiosk selection was limited and out of most movies. The air conditioning did not work properly and the drawer in the bathroom was hanging off the hinges. The tub had jacuzzi jets but they stuck and would not shut off so you had to use a long object like a brush handle to get them to turn off. If we wanted housekeeping it was additional $40 per day. The pool was nice but very cold and by 1 pm each day half of the sun is covered because of the other surrounding hotels. Great location but below par accomodations. It had been about 20 years since our last time-share experince and I can remember now why we vowed to never do it again. Three hours of hard-selling by 4 different people to sign a $10,000 vacation package with a cost of about $2000 a month. No thanks! We prefer traveling the Caribean and staying at all-inclusive resorts. Las Vegas was a fun experinece but the dining is way too expensive for our taste. Read less
