Excalibur

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

This good value on-strip casino hotel boasts an enormous pool area and is home to the must-see Tournament of Kings dinner show, complete with knights on horseback, jousting, pyrotechnics and Merlin himself. Las Vegas’s take on old England, the Excalibur would surprise the Knights of the Round Table. But that’s where it leaves England behind and takes on the world. There’s the all-American casino (with 100,000 sq ft of gaming), games arcade, and branch of Johnny Rockets’ famous hamburger chain. There’s Italy, Mexico and Asia (and a bit more America) in its casual restaurants and food court. And there’s Australia in its ‘Thunder from Down Under’ adult show and Australian Bee Gees tribute concert.

Very nice and clean hotel. The guest room was very well kept and casino floor is very nice and staff is very very friendly. Bar tenders were very good and bar maids always keeping you replenished with beverages. Cafes and stores in casino also make it a very good place overall to visit!

This casino has lots to offer, lots of slots, table games, food options and shops to shop. Overall a great place to visit and stay for some good fun! Walking distance from the strip. I will definitely stay here again. Can't wait!!

Perfect location. Helpful and friendly staff…everywhere! (Buffet, casino floor, checking desk, etc.) room was clean and nice. Very comfortable bed and pillows. But…a huge brick wall outside the window. If you mashed your face against the glass and looked straight up you could see sky, upper levels of the hotel and one decorative turant. Was very… Read more

Had a great weekend at The Excaliber with my wife. The many food and bar options in house make it a great, easy choice for our stays in Las Vegas. The rooms are always clean and in great shape when compared to similarly priced hotels on the strip. Always my choice for a fun trip!

To start with I had very low expectations because of all the awful reviews and the overall reputation this place had.. That said, it turned out better than I thought. It’s not in the middle of the strip but it’s walking distance to NYNY & other things. Very busy place, more “rowdy” than glamorous. Decent food options. Staying here will feel like… Read more

It’s not in the middle of the strip but it’s walking distance to NYNY & other things. Very busy place, more “rowdy” than glamorous. Decent food options. Staying here will feel like a motel. Decor is nothing to note except maybe the fun view of the castle. Bare minimum cleanliness, bit dusty but fine. Overall it’s not a bad budget option. Read less
