Harrah's Hotel and Casino

The Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

Harrah’s is the ultimate day and night party destination. Its nightclub, Carnaval Court, is an open-air street party along The Strip, with live bands, DJs and flair bartenders keeping you entertained under the sun and stars. If you need a change of scene, Numb serves up frozen cocktails while The Piano Bar serves up duelling pianos and karaoke. True to its location, Harrah’s also delivers an award-winning Elvis act, The Righteous Brothers: Bill Medley & Bucky Heard and longtime Vegas magician Mac King. And, alongside fine dining and casual eats, it brings you Fulton Street Food Hall, a 24-hour food court with a difference – all about quality food created by expert chefs, from sushi to create-your-own pizza, frozen yoghurt, and ‘comfort food’ stations.

1st off, I accidentally ended up at the this hotel. Its walking distance from the venetian where my friends stayed. I booked for the Rio but they did not actually open so everyone got rerouted to harras. I am happy. For the price you pay, it was well worth it. I had a particular door man, his name was Mike, man he was one of those guys that make you sad you have to leave, he was so pleasant, fun, kind and extreamly helpful for the entire 4 days I stayed there. lol it's like that guy works 24 hours a day. Early in the morning, he's there, late night, he's there. defiantly want to tell him thank you for his services and making my trip 10 times better. The rooms where clean. There wasnt any room service due to covid but when i call for something they got there in less than 10 minutes. Check in was a breeze. All the tables had red stickers on them for social distancing. So crap tables where like 6 ppl. But i didnt mind. Only complaint was the late night roulette ladies. They were rude as hell. But it was a busy weekend so i guess their nerves were bad. Would i stay again?? Yes. Definitely. Great bang for your buck. Thanks again to door man Mike. I hope i see you again once i visit las vegas!! Blessings to you! Harrahs is extremely high class like the venetian but the customer service, (besides on the roulett tables) was exceptional. Crap tables, check in desk, room service, security staff and door man made it all worth it. Keep up the great work. Until next time!!! Miss Nash Read less

Had an awesome stay at Harrahs, only thing in the room was that there was no mini fridge so we could not put any of our cold items anywhere...and it was hard to shower because there is no door on one side, so there was water all over our bathroom floor had to use majority of my towels and call for more.

COVID-19 observations. To start of the trip. I was recently moved from the Linq to Harrahs because Linq hotel part decided not to open as planned. COVID-19 observations. To start of the trip. I was recently moved from the Linq to Harrahs because Linq hotel part decided not to open as planned. I did NOT receive an email stating so and only found out after I called to check on the status. I booked a deluxe suite at the Linq and given a regular room they told me I could upgrade at Harrahs but would be responsible for the difference in price (it was two days prior and the rooms were more expensive and I was a diamond member I told them; chose not to upgrade). Anyway, here are the pros and cons. Pros: Cheap (you get what you pay for (see below Cons) Staff was very nice and did their best to be nice regarding the face mask policy. Most people observed the face mask policy. The linq gambling was open The linq promenade was open mostly Lots of food choices at the linq promenade. Rooms were simple (cons for some; see below) Location (most Caesers properties except Mirage were open) The rates! Hotel is like an mid-level Marriott or Hilton with better restaurant and gambling onsite. Location (very central to everything and everyone (see below con) CONS: Cheap (you get what you pay for) NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING- did not know this and we had to put trash and towels in the hallway. Pool: The pool is very short-staffed albeit people were nice. Pool: Small, no music, and everyone has crammed in there; NO Social distance at all. There are two pools. One is a regular pool (imagine a large inner-city mid-level Marriott pool with cabanas around it) and everyone is hanging out on the side smashed together. The second pool is a pool that is 18" deep approx 30ft x 40ft and everyone is drinking and just sitting in the pool (now imagine I saw no one get up and go to the bathroom for over 3 hrs, is it because they hold it or is it because the pool bathrooms are too far or they just use the pool, hmmm) . Oh and it is HOT to walk on!!! Location: (there are a lot of .... well seedy people because it is so centrally to other areas that are cheap and cheap drinks, yet the have $10 min tables (some are $15) THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR KIDS!!! (the area between the Linq and Harrahs and the Promenade.) Is sketchy at best. WE SMELLED POT EVERYWHERE, was solicited by prostituion every night and people were smoking POT on the sidewalk. Lots of hotel security that was concerned about facemask inside but NO police. Smoking is everywhere. Side note: Caesers was open and this was not the same issue. Read less

My credit card statement had a mysterious 11.34 charge in it from Harrahs. To find out that I was charged for self-checking I’m on the Caesars App is ridiculous. They advertise it as saving time and skipping the lines at check-in, but say NOTHING about charging you for this!! Total scam; counting on the unsuspecting guest to not verify all their credit card charges on their monthly statement. I’m a Gold member with Caesars and I’m not sure if they all charge this for self check-in, but it makes me want to disavow my Caesars loyalty ASAP. Im disputing the charge as they didn’t inform me of this additional cost for the service. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The first room they checked me in smelled like an ashtray. I had to check my reservation to make sure I didn’t book a smoking room on accident. I laughed when I saw the generic card on the table saying “Enjoy the fresh clean air of this non-smoking room”. For having been closed for 3 months you would of thought that they could of aired out the rooms that had been smoked in. Read less
