The hotel

After 30 years of welcoming guests under the name of Bally's, the hotel has been renovated and we're ready to introduce you to Horseshoe Las Vegas! With all the famous amenities, but spruced up to give that extra bit of glamour, you're sure to find everything you need here - from shops to restaurants, and plenty of bars and shows. There’s the casino too of course, with its traditional reels, video poker, slots machines and roulette tables but, if Lady Luck and you have been flirting too much, head on over to the oversized poolside — it’s rocking. And yes, we do mean literally, with DJ music, private cabanas and plenty of shaded areas thanks to the palm trees! Being in the centre of the strip is great for enjoying all that Vegas has to offer, and it's also great when it comes to hotel room views too - choose between High Roller views, looking out on the South of the Strip, or our personal favourite, the fountain view. Whichever room you pick here, you're sure to have a blast.

The hotel is a very busy place. It is in the center of the strip. Easy to walk to many attractions . Many choices of restaurants. Rooms are nice size and updated. This is not what you would call a luxury resort. It just has everything that you need to experience the Las Vegas feel

The parking was paid at check in but had to pay again to get out. (was told the room key would work to open the gate) Stopped to let the front desk know about the double charge but they wanted to see a receipt. And there are no coffee makers in the upgraded "suite" room so to get up for a 7:30 meeting at the convention center I would have to get dressed go to the casino to get coffee then back to the room to get ready. Check in was pleasant and easy. Our room was MASSIVE with a lovely view and very central. A sperate bedroom with a very comfy bed. large lounge , dining area Kitchen and three toilets. Carpets tired but thats not a big deal. I found it quite perplexing that with a large kitchen and dining table, there was not a single implement. Not a proper cup, teaspoon or plate to eat off. The hairdryer was broken and it was a real rigmarole to get it replaced. I think the thing I was really disappointed in was the lack of gratefulness. My husband was downstairs meeting clients. He noticed a lady collapsed at the table and her grown daughters highly distressed and not knowing what to do. He raced over, got her on the ground and had to perform CPR on her. She was totally gone, but he managed to bring her back and continued until the Ambulance arrived. He then had to stay and fill out every form possible to protect the Casino from liability. (he cracked one of her ribs in the process). At no stage did he even get a single call from management to say Thank you, let alone an acknowledgment. No one does a good turn for reward, but I did think at least he would get a call out of courtesy. Did not reflect well. The aircon was extremely noisy and the windows open 2cm so the nights were pretty uncomfortable. Read less

My first room, the tv didn’t work, they did send engineering but they couldn’t fix it. The curtains let in so much light the room is dim, not dark. They changed my room, curtains were the same and in this room, the mini fridge froze all my food. The worst is no coffee makers in the room.

We loved our stay! Yes, there’s some dated looking stuff and they could probably paint some stuff but the staff was friendly, casino was popping at night time and it smelled clean! Our room was clean too. We had a view of the high roller and the sphere right outside our window! The location is perfect for anyone wanting to explore the strip!
