The hotel

After 30 years of welcoming guests under the name of Bally's, the hotel has been renovated and we're ready to introduce you to Horseshoe Las Vegas! With all the famous amenities, but spruced up to give that extra bit of glamour, you're sure to find everything you need here - from shops to restaurants, and plenty of bars and shows. There’s the casino too of course, with its traditional reels, video poker, slots machines and roulette tables but, if Lady Luck and you have been flirting too much, head on over to the oversized poolside — it’s rocking. And yes, we do mean literally, with DJ music, private cabanas and plenty of shaded areas thanks to the palm trees! Being in the centre of the strip is great for enjoying all that Vegas has to offer, and it's also great when it comes to hotel room views too - choose between High Roller views, looking out on the South of the Strip, or our personal favourite, the fountain view. Whichever room you pick here, you're sure to have a blast.

The Horseshoe Hotel is like you go back to the 1970's as for decor in the rooms, which I liked, in fact, a lot. The room was also very large, clean and quiet and I had a good view from my window. Only the air- conditioning was really old- fashioned in the rooms. It kept a lot of noise and blew air too heavily in to the room and made me feel cold. There are shops in the hotel, but DO NOT buy anything from those shops because they are highly overpriced. Go to CVS pharmacy which is very near. The lady at the reception was extremely helpful and helped me with everything. I didn't come to Las Vegas for gambling but to visit the Grand Canyon. I could stay again. Read less

We will never stay here again. We stayed here a number of years ago when they were under construction and had a bad experience then. We will never stay here again. We stayed here a number of years ago when they were under construction and had a bad experience then. We tried to give the benefit of the doubt and tried the horseshoe again. It is hard to believe it was worse. We checked and got to our room. The TV was not working, the fridge was full of used/spilled drinks, and the room smelled awful. I called about the TV and we waited an hour and a half for a technician to come. They finally called me and said it was a service issue and they didn't know when it would be fixed. It didn't get fixed for 24 hours and they wouldn't move us to a different room because they were"full". If you are staying with kids or elderly people, please be mindful that the security has no patience for you when walking though the casino. I was asked to move it along quickly to get my kids out of there several times even though we were just walking through to get to the gift shop and I was accompanied by elderly/handicap adults who couldn't move quickly. You will wait in line for forever for check in and elevators. We stay in Vegas every summer and have never had such a horrible experience. Read less

Michael in Diamond Rewards was respectful and corrected it but the issue happened again for second time in the evening shift. Had to get a manager again to get this resolved. With over 40 people brought to the casino. This was so rude and disrespectful and diamond are treated like trash for spending hundreds of thousands in their casino. Also rewards at caesars properties is 1000x more required then the Wynn, and resort world. Read less

I came here for the WSOP, which they are already gouging me on the price because of it. The room is I stayed literally looked like someone died it in. There was something red of the walls that had to be blood in the corner almost up to the ceiling. When I checked out and mentioned it to the front desk all she did was laugh about it and say they… Read more

There was something red of the walls that had to be blood in the corner almost up to the ceiling. When I checked out and mentioned it to the front desk all she did was laugh about it and say they would get someone to clean it up. Excuse me? That was a terrible response from them. There was blood on the walls. No apology or anything from them. Rooms are run down and old and definitely not worth the money I paid for it. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Thanks for the PERFECT ROOM to see the High Roller and the Sphere

Jun 14, 2024 2013TravelinFool Mesquite, Nevada

The room #1583 was perfect to watch the High Roller, the Sphere all night and the sunrise. Only wish the outside windows were cleaned but that was really not important. The room was super clean, bathroom was perfect, shower wonderful and pretty quiet.
