The hotel

After 30 years of welcoming guests under the name of Bally's, the hotel has been renovated and we're ready to introduce you to Horseshoe Las Vegas! With all the famous amenities, but spruced up to give that extra bit of glamour, you're sure to find everything you need here - from shops to restaurants, and plenty of bars and shows. There’s the casino too of course, with its traditional reels, video poker, slots machines and roulette tables but, if Lady Luck and you have been flirting too much, head on over to the oversized poolside — it’s rocking. And yes, we do mean literally, with DJ music, private cabanas and plenty of shaded areas thanks to the palm trees! Being in the centre of the strip is great for enjoying all that Vegas has to offer, and it's also great when it comes to hotel room views too - choose between High Roller views, looking out on the South of the Strip, or our personal favourite, the fountain view. Whichever room you pick here, you're sure to have a blast.

Stayed for a couple of nights and I had a good experience. Room was quite large, very modern and clean. I did not make use of any facilities so can't comment on them. Nice room, clean and spacious. Since being rebranded from Bally’s to Horseshoe the premises seem like some nice renovations have happened. Marked down 1 star due to housekeeping not coming 1 of the days of my stay but that was not a huge negative as other strip properties lately seem to skip many days of housekeeping.

I enjoyed my third stay at Horseshoe (formerly Bally's.) The front desk agent hooked our group up with adjoining rooms which was greatly appreciated. The rooms are spacious and some have great views of The Sphere. Only gambled here a little as I seem to have better luck at the Paris which is connected by an indoor walkway. They also have an indoor food court at the back of the property that is good for a quick snack. Also enjoy using the monorail and this property is convenient for that. My only complaint is that the carpet in the rooms/hallways is in desperate need of cleaning or replacement. Read less

I rented two rooms at the Horseshoe in Vegas on April 17 2024. Upon checking in and getting into our room, we found that it had not been cleaned appropriately. I immediately called down to the desk and told them that housekeeping needed to come up. It looked like maybe they got interrupted and they didn't wipe any of the surfaces down and it needed to be vacuumed. They told me they were calling housekeeping and they would be right up. I called back down there after 2 hours and they told me we didn't need to be in the room that housekeeping would come in and take care of it by the time we got back from dinner. I went to the front desk on our way out to show them the pictures stating that it needed to be done that we hadn't taken out all of our stuff because we wanted it to be clean. After I showed the woman at the desk the pictures she said that she probably just needed to move us to a new room. She then stated they were sold out for the night and she would make another note to housekeeping to go up there. We were gone from the time housekeeping was requested till the time we got back seven hours. I called the front desk and told them nobody ever came to clean it and we are staying in somebody else's germs and garbage. We had been traveling all day and we were exhausted. We went to bed and at 1:30 AM, there was a knock at our door. I got up and I told them we are asleep and that now is not an appropriate time to try to clean a room. The next morning I called down and said I wanted to talk to a manager, They told me they would be calling me. No one ever called. When we went to check out, I asked to speak to a manager. A man named Dennis said I'll take care of it and came over, this is when everything got worse. When I told Dennis what had happened he said well we can't do anything about it because you're checking out. You didn't allow us the opportunity to make it right. I told him he better check my account because. I contacted them over five times and nothing was ever taken care of. I gave them plenty of opportunities to take care of the problem. I wanted to show him the pictures so he knew I was not making things up that it was really bad. He told me he didn't need to see them. I told him it would make me feel better if he saw the pictures. Then he accused me of spending time in the room when I was in Vegas taking pictures rather than going out and enjoying myself. It was more important for me to stay in the room. I told him the pictures took less than five minutes and we did go out and again reiterated that he had many hours for this problem to be taken care of. I then asked for the room charge to be removed. He then went on to say we'll take the room charge off($28). I said great thank you and the resort fees. He told me nobody gets to stay in Vegas for free. I told him that their room should've been cleaned and that nobody should have to rent a dirty room and pay for it Vegas either. There are plenty of places where we could've stayed. So, I don't recommend staying there at all. Often when there's a problem, which there are problems, it's part of life. What matters is how it's dealt with. Somebody takes care of it and helps solve the problem which is what really matters. In this case it became my fault that the room wasn't cleaned, my fault that I stayed in the room and according to Dennis my fault because I didn't contact the desk enough. So five times wasn't enough and they couldn't do anything about it because I was leaving that day. I don't recommend staying here. There are plenty of places to stay in Vegas without staying in a dirty room with a condescending manager. Never once was there even an apology that I'm sorry you waited and your room was never cleaned. Read less

Had a horrible experience here. A guy at the front desk charged my room for a vehicle that wasn't mine and not on record at all. Who does this without consent? Had a horrible experience here. A guy at the front desk charged my room for a vehicle that wasn't mine and not on record at all. Who does this without consent? Mind you we had to call each and every time for them to open up the gate because our hotel keys were never validated, making it a struggle ever time we wanted to exit and enter the hotel, even if I had my own vehicle to pay parking it would have been a hassle. When I tried to situate the problem he refused to take off all the charges and got aggressive over it, demanding we should "know better" about how Vegas works. Will never stay at a hotel that houses staff with such entitled attitude. However the front luggage guys who attended to me on the first day of check in were very courteous and polite. Save your money and find a better hotel on the strip that offers complimentary parking for guests and cares about customer service. Also when I walked into the room there was a used piece of soap on the counter like they didn't thoroughly inspect the room. It looks like there are other reviews that match up with my experience. You can see the cabinets are very dated. I would put my money somewhere else if I had known better. We could not even use the pool as they directed us to Paris Pool. The website said the pool opening would be April 18 but they extended it last minute. I wasn't too pressed about that issue but everything else was downright handled improperly. Read less
