The hotel

What a unique place! The lifts ascend diagonally up the pyramid wall and the beam of light that shines from the top can be seen from 10 miles up in space. Vegas gets hotter than Egypt in the summer, so you’ll appreciate the 5-acre pool area with 4 pools, as well as a new adult VIP pool* section. Check out the hotel's dining options too — there's Diablos Cantina, Tender Steakhouse, Backstage Deli, Pyramid Café, Public House, and The Buffet at Luxor. In the sumptuous Nurture Spa, you can enjoy treatments like botanical body buffs, Swedish massages and refresher facials. Blue Man Group is comedy, theatre, rock concert and dance party all rolled into one. You'll be closer to the action than ever before at the specially designed Blue Man Theatre at Luxor Hotel and Casino. It's an outrageous multi-sensory experience you'll never forget.

Silver Tower Elevators had 3 elevators not working properly all weekend. 11th floor had a steady shower of water leaking out of the ceiling and wasn’t addressed for at least 2 days (still there upon checkout. Staff is by far the highlight of this place. They are great all around. The facility needs an overhaul, better maintenance and repair!!

The staff was exceptional, and it was a very relaxing trip. The rooms were clean and the food was good.

Smokey, unfriendly. Absolutely no one greeted us, no one checked us in, no one made a room key for us, they lobby us in the casino and stinks with cigarette smoke. Room was bare essentials and dated.

It was ok, but other than the pyramid structure, it was missing basic room features. It was ok, but other than the pyramid structure, it was missing basic room features. These are common features found in most places, even plain motels, so they should be part of a place like the Luxor. - no mini fridge. I asked at the front desk about getting one to store my medication. They said yes, be about 30 minutes. I went out for a few hours, it hadn’t been done and I needed to sleep. - lack of bedside plug ins. Everyone has stuff that needs to be charged these days. Most places have something on the bedside table with a variety of charging options. One here. I pulled out the bedside table and there was one plug in. Others were across the room. No usb ports for charging. - body wash in the shower was empty. Should be checked/refilled before each guest. No backup of a soap bar or something else. - self parking is a long way from the rooms. Not that you can move it, but maybe make it more obvious when booking. Read less

This was my Wife's and I forst time staying at the Luxor. I am a retired Officer for the State of Maine wounded and injured in the line of duty. The entire Luxor staff, being the house keeping, front desk and concierge, and especially the Luxor Teams running all of the shower thier. Each went out of thier way to ensure that I was seated properly and in most cases moved from my nose bleed seats to a much more accessible area closer to the front. I can not tell you how overwhelmed we were to feel like guests and not just an another number. My hats off to the Entire Luxor Managment and thier Staff! We'll done and Kudos to all. Read less
