I purchased 2 rooms for me and my family who were coming. When I checked in, was told the room are right across from each other and tried to access one of the rooms we were told. Turns out the check-in rep told us one thing but my mother was on a different hall entirely. When we tried to move my mom closer, the room they put her dirt and wrappers left in and around the tub, the bed did not look changed and the room smelled like weed. When we called the front desk, they said” oh yeah people were smoking in there, so we kicked them out”. So then we asked if my mom can be moved to another room. They said sure and gave us another room. We spent 20 minutes looking for the room and could not find it. At this point we spent almost 2 hours getting the rooms situation taken care of. When we told them the room number two were looking for, we were told that the room didn’t exist and told us the right room, which was still in an entirely different hall way. The next day at 9 in the morning my family called me at 9 and said that the tub and shower was clogged with water from when they returned back to their hotel room. They said they called the front desk and they just wanted to let me know. When we finally met together later that day, the tub and the shower was still clogged and when we checked at the hotel they said that they would place it as a priority, but they were still backed up and could not give us a time on when it would be fixed. They decided to move us into a different room, Which was right next door, and was a room that my mother could have taken the night prior. While moving all of our stuff from one room to another, the maintenance personnel finally showed up at 6 PM. Almost 9 hours after we let them know what the issue is, and my aunt and uncle had to go shower at my mothers room. When I told him about the issue they only issued me a partial credit for $70. After for what I paid for the rooms and for this being an MGM property, I would not recommend staying here as we had to go through a lot of trouble and waste a lot of hours which could have been spent with my family. Also every time I asked to speak with the manager, I was always told that they were busy, n finally told them I wait. 2 minutes later they jumped on the bed phone Read less

Where do I start? The theme park line to just get on the elevator to your room? The “from the 1970s” smelly roadside motel room? The complete lack of amenities? No open restaurants in the morning for breakfast? You literally have to wait in line 15 to 20 minutes just to get into the elevator to get to your room. This was COVID time when Vegas is not that busy. I could not imagine if things were normal and crowded. The room is old and out dated with not a single amenity to speak of, no refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. I’m surprised the room had a TV!. We had to go to another casino to eat breakfast as all the restaurants were closed. Don’t waste your time. The other casinos and even the off strip hotels are nicer than the Luxor. Read less

We are staying in 2 rooms in the West Tower. In vegas to visit family and celebrate our daughters birthday. We were a little hesitant to travel at this time but so far are glad we did. There are plenty of things open to still enjoy Vegas, it's just a different experience. Pros: Staff has been very friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable, you can tell the Luxor is concerned with guest safety. Cons: the noise from other rooms is surprisingly loud. The street noise I think we will get used to after 1 night but I can hear the entire phone conversation of the room next door. Hoping the noise wont be an issue. We will be here a week and I will update with changes. Read less
