The hotel

What a unique place! The lifts ascend diagonally up the pyramid wall and the beam of light that shines from the top can be seen from 10 miles up in space. Vegas gets hotter than Egypt in the summer, so you’ll appreciate the 5-acre pool area with 4 pools, as well as a new adult VIP pool* section. Check out the hotel's dining options too — there's Diablos Cantina, Tender Steakhouse, Backstage Deli, Pyramid Café, Public House, and The Buffet at Luxor. In the sumptuous Nurture Spa, you can enjoy treatments like botanical body buffs, Swedish massages and refresher facials. Blue Man Group is comedy, theatre, rock concert and dance party all rolled into one. You'll be closer to the action than ever before at the specially designed Blue Man Theatre at Luxor Hotel and Casino. It's an outrageous multi-sensory experience you'll never forget.

This was out first time in Vegas. Since there was no option above for 'wedding', I was forced to pick one of the other options. The Luxor is a staple of the Las Vegas strip. The tower rooms are great! The pool was good, better than I expected, with lots of chairs, spots to lounge and was clean. Prices at the food and beverage were high. Starbucks was several dollars higher than the airport for drip coffee, and if you don't have a suite you don't have a coffee maker in it.… Read more

Prices at the food and beverage were high. Starbucks was several dollars higher than the airport for drip coffee, and if you don't have a suite you don't have a coffee maker in it. We were there to have fun with friends, close to the stadium for a concert and it satisfied our needs well, and was well priced. Tip, if you can upgrade your room on check in, or ask for a higher floor. Our friends ended up in a main floor pyramid room and it was awful. They could not open their blinds, due to the employee entrance being right out their window. Read less

The rooms do not have a fridge, microwave or coffee maker in them. I didn't ask about getting a microwave or coffee maker, but they wanted an extra $25 for the fridge, though there is an empty cabinet where the fridge used to be. The shower stall floor is incredibly slippery that several people in my group almost fell. The bed was comfortable… Read more

At least they had a fridge, microwave and coffeemaker in the room at no additional charge. Read less

Good price for the strip but you won't get many food or entertainment options on site. Overall it was just ok and I would consider staying again if I want to save money. We didn't even bother to check out the steak house because I wasn't that impressed with anything else.
