Rio Las Vegas

The Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

Not all Las Vegas showstoppers are on the Strip – just look at Rio All-Suite Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, where your super-sized suite features floor-to-ceiling windows and jaw-dropping views of Las Vegas Valley. Seemingly inspired by the Strip’s global ‘landmarks’, the Rio’s 12 restaurants take you on a worldwide tour, from the Asian flavours of its dim sum, Vietnamese, and Indian eateries to the hearty American favourites of VooDoo Steakhouse, which takes in the glitz of Vegas from its 50th floor vantage point. The VooDoo theme continues with the Rio’s VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub; VooDoo Zipline, which gives you 360 degree views of the Strip (if you can open your eyes as you hurtle at 33 miles an hour); and VooDoo Beach, featuring four tropical pool zones, three whirlpools, poolside spa treatments, cocktail bars, and a carnival spirit.

I travel to Vegas several times a year on business. In the past i have enjoyed the Rio. This trip started with a 55 minute wait to just register. They only have about half staff at this point. Most of the desirable restaurants are closed and the few open ones are average at best and of course very high priced (e.g. Bacon and eggs $20)

Trash in hallway, trash overflowing in trashcan by the elevator that had not been emptied for a week. filthy smelly carpet mildew on shower tile, torn lamp shades. Very poor housekeeping service. Our room did not get clean the 5 days that we stayed their. We were told by management as well as housekeeping management that they will clean our rooms and they did not. We called and text everyday and no one showed up. We saw housekeeping right across our room and next to our room cleaning but did not clean our room Before we could check out on Friday morning at 9:30 am housekeeping was knocking on our door rushing us out to leave so they can clean the room for the next guest even though checkout was not until 11am but couldn't come clean our room during the week of our stay. This was unacceptable and disappointing. We will never stay here again. We have friends that were going to stay there but we told them not too. I didn't go on vacation to clean our own room. I paid for this service and didn't receive it. This put a damper on our vacation. Bad hotel overall. Staying in Motel 6 would have been better. We already have a DIFFERENT hotel reserved for our vacation next year. I do NOT recommend Rio. Read less

I have never been disappointed by The Rio, until now. Whether it was 3 rooms during our stay, or leftover trash from a previous guest, or torn sheet, missing fixtures, remotes that did not work, holes in bed sheets, door mechanism malfunctioning so it took almost 7 minutes to get in the room each time, this stay was pure trash in our eyes. We stayed for an entire week (Wednesday to Wednesday) and the room had to be changed not once, but twice because of the poor upkeep of rooms and poor housekeeping service. Rio...DO BETTER! You all had well over a year to get that hotel in tip top shape for reopening. Smh smh smh! I do appreciate the extra night stay offer because of the issues, but I could have done without it. Just upgrade your hotel so people want to return. Read less

Don’t stay here unless you absolutely need a regular parking lot parking… room had old carpet and the headboard had tears in it. Hahahaha it was a bad joke but i needed a place to park a large vehicle and they have a surface parking lot close to Caesers palace!!! Best trip to Vegas I ever had except for the room lmfao 🤣
