Rio Las Vegas

The Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

Not all Las Vegas showstoppers are on the Strip – just look at Rio All-Suite Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, where your super-sized suite features floor-to-ceiling windows and jaw-dropping views of Las Vegas Valley. Seemingly inspired by the Strip’s global ‘landmarks’, the Rio’s 12 restaurants take you on a worldwide tour, from the Asian flavours of its dim sum, Vietnamese, and Indian eateries to the hearty American favourites of VooDoo Steakhouse, which takes in the glitz of Vegas from its 50th floor vantage point. The VooDoo theme continues with the Rio’s VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub; VooDoo Zipline, which gives you 360 degree views of the Strip (if you can open your eyes as you hurtle at 33 miles an hour); and VooDoo Beach, featuring four tropical pool zones, three whirlpools, poolside spa treatments, cocktail bars, and a carnival spirit.

We were on the 36th floor. we had a good south view. Every room is a suite. With a couch a big flat screen and a fridge. We had a room with a coffee maker. It is nice to have fresh coffee in the morning. There is free parking and the garage is easy to get in and out of. If you stay there be sure to get a players card when you play there. This hotel has seen its best days 20 centuries ago. The rooms are horrible. Furnitre is damaged, wallpapers come off the walls. The management of the hotel does not care about the condition of the rooms.

Are double beds room in the masquerade tower was clean and very roomy. Housekeeping was good and available in the hallways when we needed additional towels or amenities. They were kind and accommodating. All of the food outlets in the hotel are extremely overpriced and it's disappointing that the seafood festival buffet is no longer there. The casino floor is rather boring as there is no entertainment at all. What happened to the carnival in the sky? There needs to be live music and dancers sporadically popping up on the little stages. Bring back the old days and he will fill your casino and hotel again. But for now if all you're looking for is a decent room to stay in this place is fine. otherwise I do not recommend. Read less
