The hotel

Not all Las Vegas showstoppers are on the Strip – just look at Rio Hotel & Casino, where your super-sized rooms features floor-to-ceiling windows and jaw-dropping views of Las Vegas Valley. Seemingly inspired by the Strip’s global ‘landmarks’, the Rio’s 10 restaurants take you on a worldwide tour, from the Asian flavours of its dim sum, all-you-can-eat Indian buffets, and the hearty American favourites of VooDoo Steakhouse, which takes in the glitz of Vegas from its 50th floor vantage point. And if that's not enough, you've got the newly opened Canteen Food Hall too! With a fully renovated pool area featuring 5 different pools, the recent upgrades to this hotel make it a real game changer when it comes to great value Vegas hotels.

We love staying at the Rio because of their extra large rooms. I hate feeling cramped and on top of each other when vacationing with my family. We enjoyed the Kiss mini golf and museum as well as the restaurant options. The slower pace of the entire resort is nice compared to the hotels we've stayed at on the strip.

The images online are NOTHING like the rooms. The beds have curtains behind them that are disgusting. The wood in my vanity area was severely DAMAGED. (I have photos.) The renovated rooms are significantly better and I am not sure why the hotel is even renting out the older tower. I was not even offered an apology for my experience.

Will take my business elsewhere. Couldn't apply all my room members play to our room at the end of the stay. One of my guys jumped tier of players card. Sad deal. Talked to 3 different people at the rewards desk and this ultimately was a bad experience and was told multiple different things all different things. Bad taste in the mouth.
