The LINQ Hotel + Experience

The Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

Well-connected, the name lets slip the hotel’s ‘link’ to extra food, fun and frivolity. The guestrooms are hip and high-tech, but you won’t be there much with the LINQ’s endless diversions. The centrepiece is the High Roller – the world’s tallest observation wheel, at 550-ft high it takes 30 minutes to do the full loop. You’re also ‘linked’ to an exclusive shopping, entertainment and dining promenade. And, of course, the all-essential Vegas casino. Over 21s can enjoy the pool, with nightly swims twice a week, Champagne Sundays and pool deck misting. Then there are the other decadences: the Brooklyn Bowl, a massive bowling and live music venue, and endless dining and drinking establishments, including 24-hour Hash House A Go Go, whose colossal portions featured on ‘Man v Food’.

I’ve booked here in the past and it was just as good then as it was on my recent stay. Staff was always on point with everything no matter who you would talk to. The room we had was spacious and had a great view and also very clean upon arrival. Although the price of cigarettes in the hotel was outrageous, I told myself I’m blowing the money either way. Lol. We had an amazing stay, I would definitely recommend this place and I still can’t believe how cool and friendly the staff is here. I chose to come back to this hotel for the fact that I had a great time the first time. We will be coming back. Thank you! Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Great location, not four-star, don't be fooled by low rates

The best thing about The LINQ is location. Mid-strip with easy access to north- and south-strip casinos and resorts. In my opinion, NOT a four-star hotel, especially when compared to other four-stars like Paris, Bally's, etc. The hotel was clean, and decor was up-to-date. But carpets were dingy with some tears. Also, don't be fooled by really low rates....as with most Vegas hotels, the "resort fee" is extra (in my case twice as much per-night as the room rate). The resort fee (with tax) was more than $40 per night...during COVID you get NO extras (daily newspaper, water in the room, coffee maker, daily housekeeping, etc.) and the free wi-fi barely worked during our stay. BUT you still pay the resort fee. Not sure how the resorts justify this. All things equal, if I'm going to still pay a high resort fee, I'd rather spend $15-$20 more per night and upgrade to a nicer property on my next trip. Read less

The stay was not what I expected. Service was not great. I was lost looking for my room they never explained anything most employees couldn’t help were asking me about districts when I didn’t know. Tried getting room service at midnight nothing was available. I went to another hotel and was able to get food. I will probably stay there next time.

I had issues with my stay here after booking, due to their lack of communication, and then I couldn’t get anyone to resolve the issue after my stay. Was just given a “we’re sorry” and that’s it. Never again will I stay at this property. Plenty of other hotel options in the area for sure. In all my years of traveling, the LinQ definitely tops as… Read more

Nice hotel location is great right in the hart of las vegas strip.. very clean although the walls where very then, you can here people taking a pee in the next room or some type of water running. No shuttle to the airport due to covid but seems to have a full lobby full of people.. over all great stay.
