The LINQ Hotel + Experience

The Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

Well-connected, the name lets slip the hotel’s ‘link’ to extra food, fun and frivolity. The guestrooms are hip and high-tech, but you won’t be there much with the LINQ’s endless diversions. The centrepiece is the High Roller – the world’s tallest observation wheel, at 550-ft high it takes 30 minutes to do the full loop. You’re also ‘linked’ to an exclusive shopping, entertainment and dining promenade. And, of course, the all-essential Vegas casino. Over 21s can enjoy the pool, with nightly swims twice a week, Champagne Sundays and pool deck misting. Then there are the other decadences: the Brooklyn Bowl, a massive bowling and live music venue, and endless dining and drinking establishments, including 24-hour Hash House A Go Go, whose colossal portions featured on ‘Man v Food’.

We stayed at the Linq for our first visit to Vegas and we are so glad that we did. It’s location is spot on, centre strip and easy walking distance to all the major hotspots. The room was really clean as was the bathroom and modern too. The hotel vibe was super cool, it’s one of the smaller hotels but that’s a good thing as it still took us 10 minutes to get to our room upon getting back to the hotel. Some of the larger hotels can take you a hell of a lot longer. I can highly recommend hash house a go go for breakfast, it was delicious! We didn’t use the pool as we had a daybed booked for one of the bigger pools for one day so I can’t comment on that but I did use the spa which was great, lovely service and a fab treatment. I would highly recommend staying here if you are on a lower budget but still want a great location. Read less

While working as a street medic during a BLM protest, I recognized signs I was having a panic attack. Security manager, Danielle Hoag, helped me through it. While working as a street medic during a BLM protest, I recognized signs I was having a panic attack. Security manager, Danielle Hoag, helped me through it. She allowed me to sit and relax, offered EMT support and water. She even offered me a less heavy-duty mask, as I was struggling to breathe in my N95. I was scared, she noticed and helped me get out to a less scary place. I appreciate her kindness, regardless of any difference in views, for someone who needed an Olive branch tonight. Thank you, Danielle, for your above and beyond service. You are appreciated and we need more people like you in this world. Peace, Kelsey Read less

for 3 days straight the room was not touched. No new towels and the beds were not made up. I had to call the front desk each day to get new towels. Disgraceful, the worst hotel I have stayed at in Vegas and I'll never go back.

My boyfriend and I arrived at the LINQ you only to find out it was closed. I wasn't sent on email or notified. I called and they notified me that my reservation was moved to the flamingo. I was very frustrated.

Me and my partner visited The Linq's Casino lots of times whilst on holiday in Las Vegas. Our favourite visit was one evening where was sat on a Blackjack table with one of the best staff we met out there. Unfortunately I can't remember the young gentleman name but I remember he has a smallish Afro and came from New York originally. We do remember his like managers name though - Ryan, who we had really good laughs with as my partners name is also called Ryan. I would definitely go to the Linq Casino again due to having really nice staff and it has great selection of tables and slots to play on. Read less
