I typically stay at the Venetian or Bellagio and this was the first time booking Treasure Island as the others were sold out. The room was dirty (pubic hair on toilet seat and bathrub) upon me entering the room for the first time. The bed was supposed to be a king size deluxe, yet it is much smaller than my own regular king size bed at home. The mattress was highly uncomfortable and sagging like a hammock. The windows were very thin, I could hear the street noise on 12 floor and the window film was broken in spots so white patches came through. My room was located exactly opposite the vending machines and ice machine and next to elevators, I tried to move right away when I noticed the location but was told to come back next day at 8.30am, I did and then they told me I should come back later at 11, which I did again and they said to come back at 1pm. I couldn't come at 1pm so showed up at 3.30pm and was told it was too late again to switch rooms. Highly disappointing. The inquiry person Keisha told me I could still order room service when I checked in at 9pm but then I called room service and they said they were closed. Thermostat were old from the 80s, couldn't set a temperature and it was ice cold so I just turned it off alltogether. Overall very disapointing stay and would rate this a 3 star hotel for future reference. Read less

Trash place. Long check in line that takes over 40 minutes with antiquated systems. BS resort fee. They charges $45 extra a day it’s a scam. Go somewhere else if you can. There just be somewhere else that lets you check in easily and doesn’t hide a resort fee.

Treasure Island is a mid-tier hotel in Las Vegas. There is nothing special about this hotel and I chose it because it was nearby to my business conference and less expensive than the Venetian. The air ventilation system is substandard and the smell of smoke hangs in the air throughout the hotel, although the room did not smell of smoke. The kiosk checkin did not work, wasting my time and forcing me to check in after waiting in line. The window in the room was so dirty that it was hard to see outside. Overall, not a good experience. There was a dead bug next to the elevator and I noticed it was there everyday (four days) that I walked by. Hotel was very crowded and it was hard at times to find someone to ask a question. The Coffee Shop in the hotel was great. We ate there everyday. We also enjoyed the Mystere show there. Overall it was a good experience but definitely not a five star hotel. Read less
