The hotel

Treasure Island, known as 'TI', is the high energy, sophisticated resort on The Strip. It offers first class entertainment with Cirque du Soleil®'s stunning Mystère, consistently voted one of the best shows in Las Vegas. 2,884 rooms on 36 floors in 1 building with 20 lifts. All with air-conditioning, 42" LCD TV with pay-per-view movies, digital clock radio with alarm and USB charging point, complimentary WiFi access, safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, bathroom amenities, and mini-fridge. 

Deluxe Rooms feature 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Deluxe Strip View Rooms offer views of famed Las Vegas Strip, the Volcano at The Mirage, and/or the tropical pool, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Petite Suites are larger in size with a lounge sofa and seating area, two bathrooms, a large whirlpool tub, and one king-size bed or two queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Tower Suites are extra spacious and feature a foyer, lounge and dining area, two bathrooms, a large whirlpool tub, and one king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Phil's Steak House (open Fri-Tues for dinner). Popeyes (food court servery serving a range of chicken related options). Golden Circle Sportsbook and Bar (open 24-hours, showing live sports and serving a range of food and drink). Pick Up Stix (open-style kitchen serving fresh Asian cuisine). Seafood Shack (open Weds-Sun for dinner). Starbucks. Breeze Bar (Casino bar). Malena's Yoghurt Plus (serving handcrafted desserts). Gilley's BBQ & Saloon (Wild west themed bar and restaurant with live entertainment, mechanical bull, and line dancing, as well as a show kitchen). Margarita Bar. The Coffee Shop. Good night sleep, excellent amenities (including a CVS attached). Walk-in distance throughout the newer section of the strip. Note that like all Vegas hotels, there’s a slight smoke smell at the casino on the ground floor which cannot be avoided. But the non smoking rooms were clear.

The staff has been very helpful and extremely polite. We did the self check in and we skipped the line which was incredibly convenient since we wanted to fly in and nap before our outings.

Good variety of restaurants downstairs. Also close to the center of the strip so it's easy to walk to the best places on the strip. They also had Cirque du Soleil in their theater. Only thing that we didn't like was the constant smell of cigarettes anywhere outside the room, but it IS a resort-casino, so that can't be helped. All in all, great stay. Read less
