Vdara Hotel & Spa at ARIA Las Vegas

The Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

Designed for those who want to tap into the energy and excitement of Las Vegas but would prefer to enjoy it from an exclusive, non-gaming and smoke-free resort, Vdara is one of few hotels in Vegas not to house a casino. What you get instead is a cosmopolitan, all-suite hotel that feels blissfully private despite being in the heart of the action. The cutting-edge pool is surrounded by private retreats, semi-private plunge pools and cabanas; there’s a world-class spa, and you are a few short minutes away from a dizzying range of dining, shopping and entertainment options, so you’ll never be short of things to do. The Vdara really is an oasis in the desert.

We checked in last night for our 30th anniversary. We had requested a high floor months ago via web sight, email and phone call. Nevertheless we were not put on one. Also, our refrigerator doesn’t work and the shower doesn’t drain leaving you standing in dirty water. My husband called last night and spoke to the manager to no avail. We are… Read more

We are still in that substandard room on our anniversary. For a such a nice hotel this experience has proven to be a huge let down. Read less

Good stay, but huge thank you to Christian-kazniel Flores for providing fantastic service during our stay. Truly made the experience over the top. The hotel is clean and relaxed which is a great escape from the madness.

Excellent 1 bedroom fountain view suite...One of the best in Vegas...loved having a washer and dryer in suite...very clean and very friendly...close walk to busiest part of the strip. We loved it here and it's our new favorite place to stay...

There was trash leftover from the previous guest in the room including hair and food in a soiled napkin. Super nasty. Half of the things including A/C didn’t work so we had to be moved. No apologies or any comps considering I had to call multiple times to even get a resolution. Your money is better spent elsewhere. Keep in mind that with the… Read more

No apologies or any comps considering I had to call multiple times to even get a resolution. Your money is better spent elsewhere. Keep in mind that with the mandatory valet and resort fee and tax it is an extra $86 a night, which adds up. That would be all well and good if the hotel was actually clean and kept up to standards but it’s not. Read less

We are currently staying at Vdara, having stayed here around 5 years ago. Since our last stay signs of decay abound. The carpet is soiled and tired in appearance. We are currently staying at Vdara, having stayed here around 5 years ago. Since our last stay signs of decay abound. The carpet is soiled and tired in appearance. The shower drain doesn't actually drain. There is missing grout all around the shower, and the bench in the shower has a large crack in the tile. The bathtub has a broken on/off knob which is floating freely. And when you call the front desk for assistance you are bound to wait 10-15 minutes. Deferred maintenance may have to do with cost saving from the Covid pandemic, but it is no way to run a property. To cap off our stay the pool was closed yesterday for a non-existent storm, and the gym is only open 8-5. I was told at check-in that they can't afford to staff the gym beyond those hours. I can say that I have never been to a gym at any hotel, anywhere, where they kept banker's hours. But they will happily charge you a "resort fee" for features you probably won't be able to use. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere, or keep your expectations low. Read less
