Vdara Hotel & Spa at ARIA Las Vegas

The Strip, Las Vegas

The hotel

Designed for those who want to tap into the energy and excitement of Las Vegas but would prefer to enjoy it from an exclusive, non-gaming and smoke-free resort, Vdara is one of few hotels in Vegas not to house a casino. What you get instead is a cosmopolitan, all-suite hotel that feels blissfully private despite being in the heart of the action. The cutting-edge pool is surrounded by private retreats, semi-private plunge pools and cabanas; there’s a world-class spa, and you are a few short minutes away from a dizzying range of dining, shopping and entertainment options, so you’ll never be short of things to do. The Vdara really is an oasis in the desert.

This place is worth every penny. The bed is so comfortable and the kitchenette is just right. The tub is the best I've seen. I had a wonderful view. If there was one bad thing, it would be the parking and actually getting to the hotel; but it's worth it. The picture below was the view from my room.

Amber at the front desk was so helpful with a few issues we had. Explained the resort and area very well her tips were great too. I just wanted to tell the staff we appreciated them. And look forward to coming back in July for Joe Rogan at the Park theater ( another great Mgm property.) I hope to see everyone back and healthy after… Read more

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. Not having to walk through a nasty smoky casino everytime I leave my room was the best experience. I liked having a room that separated the kitchen area, bed, and couch. This made the room much more comfortable. The food was good and I enjoyed the roof top pool. I will be back.

I've now stayed at most of the hotels on The Strip and I have to say, for the price, this is a favorite of mine. We booked a corner suite (for 6 girls total) and it had plenty of room. I ended up tipping more than usual for most of the employees I had encountered here. Biggest gripe though would be access to Vdara to and from the strip. It's a little further back, just like the Aria. However, there is the Tram (have to walk through the Bellagio) and to just walk through the Aria. The place also only has one place to eat (a market place) in the actual hotel and no casino. Also, if sharing a room with people you hardly know, you will get to know them quickly. There is no door enclosing the toilet and it's next to the glass shower. There are doors to the actual bathroom, but when sharing with 6 girls, privacy wasn't an option. I did book through a timeshare company, but monitored sales and deals for a couple of months before we went, it still had the best deal for the size and price. I will definitely consider staying here again. I really considered 5 stars, especially with the level or service received and the Pool Cabana was a sweet deal with private pools for a section of 3-4 cabanas. (See review under Vdara Pool & Lounge) However, the inaccessibility to the strip, food and gambling makes it difficult for me to give 5 stars! Read less

Great accommodations in Vegas - adjacent to the Aria. We appreciated the feel of a more boutique hotel in the middle of the huge hotels Vegas normally offers. Pool area seems a bit small due to the fact it's between two large buildings. Rooms are nicely appointed with a small desk/sitting area.
