Vdara Hotel & Spa at ARIA Las Vegas

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

Designed for those who want to tap into the energy and excitement of Las Vegas but would prefer to enjoy it from an exclusive, non-gaming and smoke-free resort, Vdara is one of few hotels in Vegas not to house a casino. What you get instead is a cosmopolitan, all-suite hotel that feels blissfully private despite being in the heart of the action. The cutting-edge pool is surrounded by private retreats, semi-private plunge pools and cabanas; there’s a world-class spa, and you are a few short minutes away from a dizzying range of dining, shopping and entertainment options, so you’ll never be short of things to do. The Vdara really is an oasis in the desert.

We stayed at the Vdara for 4 nights, in the Panoramic Suite. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The location is great as it is right in the middle of the strip. And it's nice that there is no casino in the building so you don't have to walk forever just to get to the room. We really enjoyed our stay… Read more

We stayed twice at the Vdara and loved our rooms. Would definitely stay again. I don’t understand the criticisms about the kitchen equipment. I believe that hotels in Vegas aren’t allowed to provide fully equipped kitchens but a phone call to Housekeeping provided us with bowls, plates, mugs and cutlery that we needed for making our own breakfast. We had a travel kettle with us so didn’t need to hire one. Beds super comfortable and view over Bellagio fountains was great. Everyone from concierge to checkin staff were friendly and helpful. We left our luggage on our last day and had fast service when retrieving it. Taxis about $25 dollars to airport from 24 hr taxi rank at hotel. Mini shop/cafe was expensive but same as most top end Vegas Strip hotels. Go to Miracle Mile shops for reasonable priced food if you cannot stomach the overpriced meals in top hotels. It is quite a walk through Bellagio to get to the Strip if you are getting on in years but great to see their conservatory. Pool looked lovely at Vdara but didn’t get chance to use it. A lovely hotel apart from the ridiculously priced mini bar in the room. For that reason and the exorbitant resort tax charged by most Vegas hotels I have removed a star. Also tried to use their MGM app to save checkin time but it wouldn’t accept my scan so had to checkin manually. If you want a clean comfortable smoke free hotel without a casino try the Vdara.
