We stayed for one night, after driving from Vegas, through Death Valley, only to arrive with some unexpected late season snow. The hotel is fine albeit in need of a refurb here and there. The inclusive breakfast was good. We ate dinner at Petras Bistro which I think is part of the hotel. Nice beer, good food and good service.

At $170 per night during their off season I was expecting a good room. The room had not been updated in at least 30 years. The sole source of heat was a single wall heater that had a clumsy dial that left the room either too hot or two cold all night.(No thermostat) Wanting to catch an important event on TV was another disappointment. The TV was small, low def and a cable service which cropped about a third of the intended picture off at the sides. Imagine a 3 person panel where the two outside people are cut in half. The shower was poor and the bathroom tiny. It required a dance with you, the door and the toilet just to get in. I will not return. Read less
