First time in Las Vegas and this hotel was great for what we needed. Very happy with our stay. Hotel is located about a 10 min car ride/ 25 min walk from the main South Strip. They offer valet parking or self parking. The inside was lovely and modern. Lots of gambling machines lol. Lots of restaurants to choose from. We went to the common bar once, staff were lovely. We got 2 for 1 vouchers from the hotel when checking in. Our room was located in the opal tower, a little bit of a walk but worth it for the view/quality of room. The hotel has plenty of shops including ice cream, Dunkin Donuts, breakfast bar. Not too expensive and very convenient. The room was great for 2 people. Bed was lovely and comfortable. Big shower and big mirror. Lots of space for toiletries. Safe in the room which was easy to use. Even had a vanity mirror, table and chair which was a pleasant surprise. Lots of lighting, all buttoned controlled by the side of the bed. Sofa in the room which was nice. Great view of the swimming pools/strip in the distance. The TV is interactive so you can control your TV, view your bill, control your a/c. Very fancy! Hotel has taxis readily available outside or if you want, there’s a 108 bus that goes to the top end of the strip next to Wynn hotel or stay on it to go to the Fremont Experience. The original Las Vegas strip. From fremont, you can grab a 401 bus to the North Outlet stores. You can buy a 24 hour or 3 day pass on the RTC app. Use ‘Transit’ app to work out your route and to buy tickets. Just to note, you will get charged a resort revenue cost which is the tax per night. It varies depending on what type of room. Normally around 13%. Just something to incorporate when staying. Every hotel charge it. We had a great trip to Las Vegas and this hotel was great for our first experience. Read less

Great off strip hotel with well maintained rooms and free parking. I’d stay here again to get away from the busyness of the strip and enjoy a calmer night in Las Vegas. Favorite parts were the room layout, design and cleanliness. It is a pet friendly hotel but you can’t tell pets were in the rooms.

The hotel has a Good amount of restaurants to choose from, they also have an ice cream shop. Though I wish they had plain strawberry ice cream. I got the Vanilla in a waffle cone twice. The room I had was in the Ruby tower ( Rm 11517 King Suite). The view wasn’t anything to right home about. There was a parking garage roof , but being on the 15th floor it wasn’t that bad because at night you can see the city lights. So the parking garage wasn’t even a bother. Some ppl might not like that. But I didn’t come to Vegas to stare out the window. The room was very clean and very spacious . You can also order in room dining, turn the room lights on and off and also control the room temp all from the TV. You can also put on DND from there too. The bathroom was huge and had a separate shower and tub. The tub was big and deep. The in room dining came quick and it was still hot. I felt like they made my food and brought it straight up to my room. It was great. I ordered the Virgin Breakfast ( Which you can get all day ) 3 eggs, bacon, Hash browns, and 2 slices of toast. Doesn’t sound like much, but it was some of the best breakfast I have ever had. I ordered it every day. And I was there for 5 days. I even had it for dinner one night. The casino was nice. Not full of smokers like some other hotels. The music was good and the staff there is Very friendly. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping was amazing. I would like to give a personal thank you to Dave Wang (Casino Host) and Melijah (Ruby Tower front desk Clerk) for making my stay even more enjoyable. My original stay was only for 2 days but after the first day I loved it there so much I extended my stay another 3 days. I can’t wait to go back. I’ve already started looking at plane tickets to book my next trip. Also they have 24 hr room service and a couple of restaurants stay open 24/7. Great hotel. I will definitely be going back in the near future. Read less

I've stayed at MANY strip hotels, but have several business trips upcoming over the next 7 months. I booked the Virgin to try something new. WOW, am I glad that I did. From the moment I arrived, everything felt different. Unlike many strip hotels with long and inefficient lines. the line at Virgin moved quickly and I was up in my room in no time. The front desk staff were 5-star quality, without the 5-star pricing. While I have seen reviews of people disappointed in resort fees, this is the reality in Vegas. I felt like here at Virgin, you actually get something for your resort fee. I put my two-for-one drink coupons to use, and having live streaming in the rooms was amazing. After my first stay, Danny Weinstein even reached out to see how I enjoyed my stay. It's just classy that they really care customers at a large property. As I mentioned, I have 8 trips coming up that were in a variety of hotels across Las Vegas. As a result of my previous experience (and my current wonderful stay), I have canceled all my other hotel reservations and changed them to stay here at the Virgin. I am hoping to try the spa and fitness center on one of these trips as well and will update that in my review once time permits in my work schedule. Other notes of things I liked are bulleted below: - Excellent front desk staff - Everywhere I walked people said hello and were friendly - Bartenders at Circle Bar were helpful and accommodating - I really enjoyed my meal at Casa Caverna - Elegant and classy holiday decor. - If you can, STAY in the Ruby Tower. It's SOOO nice. - This is a Hilton property, so make sure to have them add any points you accrue to your Hilton account (they also have a separate Virgin program you can join as well if you're not Hilton Honors_ Read less
