Casino is garbage, got lied to about $150 in free slot play and then when I got to any of the machines, the machines showed nothing on the cards. There’s a reason the rooms are $70. You get what you pay for.

My wife and I stayed here at the end of September for 5 nights in a Blanca King room. There was a short queue for check-in. Having paid the resort fee and deposit (which was promptly returned), we were given 2 key-cards for room 10702 on the 7th floor. The room was a good size with air-con, mini-fridge (with 2 small bottles of complimentary water), 55-inch TV, large desk area. Wi-Fi, safe, iron and ironing board. The bathroom set-up looked modern but was impractical. The shower and toilet areas were separate with a washbasin in between. There was a single sliding door which serviced the shower if moved to the left and the toilet if moved to the right. The washbasin area (with hairdryer and shaving/makeup mirror) could therefore not be used when either the shower or toilet were in use as the door slid right into where you were standing in front of the basin. There was no handrail in the toilet. The walk-in shower had multiple jets which soaked everywhere and left nowhere to keep your towel dry. 3 bath towels and one hand towel were provided - no flannels and no bathmat. Bath sundries provided were minimal (2 small soaps and 3 small tubes for 2 people). Fortunately, we were able to get an extra hand towel (to use as a bathmat), replacement toiletries and water from housekeeping. The hotel lifts required occupants to use their room key-card as well as press a floor button. This was supposedly a safety feature, however as anyone could enter the lift behind you and press any other floor button once a key-card had been used, it was a bit pointless, not to mention inconvenient if you were holding 2 cups of coffee, for example. The hotel was clean throughout and all staff, particularly housekeeping, were friendly and helpful. There was no coffee maker in the room or lobby which we felt was poor for a hotel of this standard and as a consequence, we are unlikely to return to the Sahara. Read less

Had a great time and Sahara is located right off the strip. Which was easier to move around to get to the other hotels etc. great people and awesome casino host who was also friendly. Thank you for the great hospitality. Will always stay here when I’m in Vegas.
