The LINQ Hotel + Experience

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

Well-connected, the name lets slip the hotel’s ‘link’ to extra food, fun and frivolity. The guestrooms are hip and high-tech, but you won’t be there much with the LINQ’s endless diversions. The centrepiece is the High Roller – the world’s tallest observation wheel, at 550-ft high it takes 30 minutes to do the full loop. You’re also ‘linked’ to an exclusive shopping, entertainment and dining promenade. And, of course, the all-essential Vegas casino. Over 21s can enjoy the pool, with nightly swims twice a week, Champagne Sundays and pool deck misting. Then there are the other decadences: the Brooklyn Bowl, a massive bowling and live music venue, and endless dining and drinking establishments, including 24-hour Hash House A Go Go, whose colossal portions featured on ‘Man v Food’.

This property is starting to show its age and is worn and weathered. Bathroom soap dispenser leaks onto the counter, one elevator is inoperable. Our room in district 3 on the 3rd floor had thin walls and we could hear the guest above us pacing the floor and flush the toilet. Not sure what the resort fee is for as there is no free access to the pool, no in-room coffee machine, no free wi-fi, no mini-bar, slippers or any amenity of note. The only good thing about this hotel is its location next to the LINQ promenade (Close to several restaurants and shops) and in the middle of the strip. Read less

While rooms are a tad run down ( usb plugs not working , tired carpet and decor ) location simply cannot be beat - right smack in the middle of everything and a walker’s paradise. Pool is small and we booked a daybed . It said it fits 4 people- not adults - but comfy . Drinks are pricey not service is great and fast. At noon they crank the pool… Read more

Pool is small and we booked a daybed . It said it fits 4 people- not adults - but comfy . Drinks are pricey not service is great and fast. At noon they crank the pool music “ to eleven” and you can’t hear anything. Do not upgrade to a pool room unless you like sleeping in a club with pumping music . Lots of restaurants and good choices and rooms- while run down- were immaculate and daily housekeeping was fabulous. Bathrooms were upgraded. Honestly, would come back as you can’t beat this price and location. Read less

The decor is dreary, and the rooms are poorly maintained. I did not even have a refrigerator in my room, just an empty hole in the wall, where it was supposed to be. The hallways are long and dark, and I did not feel comfortable walking by myself late at night. My room was really far from the elevator. definitely not worth the cost.

We stayed for 5 nights at the linq. It was our first time staying there. Check in took roughly 40 mins which isn't bad , we got help with reception as we had difficulty with the self check in. Customer service was great at the reception desk. We got upgraded to a much nicer room for a small fee. We were placed into the district 3 zone in a two… Read more
We stayed for 5 nights at the linq. It was our first time staying there. Check in took roughly 40 mins which isn't bad , we got help with reception as we had difficulty with the self check in. Customer service was great at the reception desk. We got upgraded to a much nicer room for a small fee. We were placed into the district 3 zone in a two queen suite room with a view. Great view of the high roller. Room was clean and updated. Bathroom was okay for a budget hotel. We really enjoyed the Linq promenade as it had many choices for eating/drinking and a few shopping choices. We also really liked the location we were at on the strip. Many great Dining options inside the hotel as well like hash house a gogo. The only downside we really had was the Uber pick up drop off area which had alot of water in it, and if the area was busy with pick up and drop offs , you often had to cross over the water in your shoes which sucked. With that being said, we would definitely stay here again because all of the pros outweighed the one con. We recommend this hotel to couples, singles , and families. Read less

The place is run down and needs lots of updating, we had to move due to plumbing issues, then the next room had issues as well they gave me a food comp, to compensate but still would not stay again, overall it’s in a good location but I would say that’s it
