We stayed at the Hampton Inn over New Year's weekend. We were happy with our room and found it to be sufficient for the price. We stayed at the Hampton Inn over New Year's weekend. We were happy with our room and found it to be sufficient for the price. Because of covid, there is no breakfast buffet, and the bagged breakfast leaves something to be desired (all high sugar foods with a piece of fruit- all of the apples in our bags were brown and mushy). The water park is nice, but it is a little stressful with covid. We signed up to use the waterpark (we had a toddler with us) and found there seemed to be a lack of organization. You had to sign up for one area of the waterpark, but nobody was enforcing whether or not people stuck to their designated side. The result was sometimes there would be a huge crowd in the splash pool area and nobody on the big slides. This probably isn't as much of an issue during the week when it is less busy, but the weekend crowds were a little too crazy. I felt bad for the one person working in the waterpark area. There really is no way for one person to handle everyone coming in and out, deal with any questions or first aid issues, manage the slides and other equipment, and ensure guests are respecting covid rules. I also wish they at least took the guests' temperatures. Also, you can sign up for the evening waterpark times at 4 pm. The earlier time slots fill up fast, especially for the splash pool, so you have to get on the list as soon as they open. Read less

I called prior to arrving on 1/2/20 and inquired if the waterpark was open. They told me it was and you had to make a 40 min reservation for that evening. I felt like they were taking precautions and limiting the number of people. So I kept my reservation and took two children on a drive for two hours for a much needed break before virtual learning started again. We had a 9:00PM reservation for the waterpark. When we arrived for our time slot it was quickly realized that the number of people being allowed in was well above the maximum allowed for an indoor gathering. When another family member, who works in the healthcare field, inquired about that we were told that they no longer count the number of people going in they count the number of families that go in. It was quite evident that multiple families were traveling together. The number of people in the small waterpark area was way too many. There were no temperature check prior to going in the area. There was nobody at the top of the slides or even near the slides making sure the guests socially distanced while they waited for their turn on the slide. There was one person policing the door, but not involved in much else. The four person jacuzzi had at least ten people in it. As a family we had to wear masks the entire time which was not fun or stress relieving by any means, but there was no other option. My kids even got made fun of by other kids for wearing them. We went up there for one night to melt some of the stress away and found more stress than we had ever bargained for. The hotel itself was overcrowded and the parking lot was full of people from out of state. If Covid rules had been properly followed and managed everyone should of been able to have fun and enjoy the facilities. A positive would be that the queen suite is very spacious and was clean. We stayed here for three nights. We had a king bed on the fourth floor. Our room faced the street but with a nice view of the mountains. The front desk staff was always helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again. Would like to come back when covid is over and we can eat in the breakfast room again.

This hotel has good bones - convenient location; pleasant front desk; nicely designed rooms, and a water park. We had a studio-suite, which is a nice amount of space and a completely separated kitchen area. As with other Hilton properties, extra cleaning/ sanitizing efforts were apparent: even the TV remote was wrapped in plastic. The kitchen area had a mini-fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker (hot coffee/ water were also available downstairs, seemingly at all hours), as well as an extra sink (much appreciated). The breakfast was a paper bag with a mini-muffin, granola bar and a bottle of water. The water park was open by appointment, with no advance booking possible (you had to sign up early the same day). No daily cleaning due to pandemic, but extra towels and other necessities easily available from the front desk. A large supermarket is 3 min away. Guest laundry is available (did not use). Having said all that, updates are badly needed. Bathrooms have mildew spots on the walls and ceiling. Mattresses have lost their fight with gravity a long time ago. Soundproofing is nonexistent - couldn't sleep the first night due to some people talking (!) upstairs. Waterpark is ok but best for smaller children (our teenager was unimpressed, as they often tend to be). All in all, could be a solid 5 stars, with some improvements. Read less

We had a late arrival driving in from Maine. The front desk was extremely friendly. This was a nice touch since we were exhausted. Our room was clean. The hotel was quiet and in a good location. A simple breakfast was served in a brown bag. We were able to choose what we wanted. I would stay here again in the future.
