I was not impressed with this hotel, especially for the price. It was slightly less than average all around except for the staff, who were great. You can get a less expensive hotel for the same experience.

Overall, an enjoyable stay. However, the workout equipment is "tired" and for a 2-night stay, I received no maid service. Otherwise, friendly employees and for a business trip/conference excellent service.

My family and I have been visiting North Conway Grand Hotel every year for the past decade as a family tradition so it breaks my heart that it's gotten to a point where I'm writing this review; I'm saddened by the continuous decline we've been seeing every year for the past few years. Every year prices go up but service and quality go down. It seems COVID is being used as an excuse to cut services such as housekeeping and the restaurant/bar - they definitely got comfortable in a new and cheaper way of doing business. It's weird because we've visited since COVID and have had housekeeping or breakfast in the restaurant - it's not very consistent on what services the hotel wants to provide year to year. I haven't seen the bar open in years. I asked at check-in if it was going to be open and was told it's seasonal (December is ski season and the hotel was packed - didn't make sense but whatever). In the past few years when I've asked I was told it was because of COVID - so they can't keep their reasoning straight. The Christmas decorations have been lacking from years past. They used to decorate so beautifully that my children literally called it the "Christmas hotel". Small things that made a difference have been discontinued as well (complimentary water, cookies, brownies in the lobby, ice cream night for the kids, etc.). What was once an easy decision to book the "Christmas hotel" each year for our family getaway is something we're definitely thinking twice about going forward. I'm not interested in paying more for less - especially when I'm seeing new places being built on the strip. Read less

Great location...close to shopping and great restaurants. Heated hot tub and pool outside to end the day is great. It also is great to have a fridge and microwave and coffee maker in the room. Front desk staff was very friendly and gave opinions about restaurants.

We booked a one night stay for our baby moon. Booked a couples massage and had an amazing time. The hotel staff was super sweet and accommodating to us being early for check in. We will definitely be back!
