I was staying at the North Conway Grand while on business recently. It has been years since I've stayed at the Grand and this was my first trip needing accommodations since the pandemic began. Masks are required in all public areas of the hotel. Unfortunately, breakfast has had to become a to-go box which is picked up in the dining room (by room #) but doesn't include fresh brewed coffee. The rooms have been equipped with single serve coffee makers, coffee, sugar and non-dairy creamer but its just not the same. The hotel does its best to work around "no daily housekeeping". Towels can be requested and left outside your door. Room trash can be bagged and left outside your door as well, as I did bring a couple of dinners back to my room for consumption. The staff is friendly with lots of social distancing precautions in place. Just reminder ~ these are not normal times and if you've stayed here before, you have to expect and be willing to accept a different experience. Read less

I understand the whole covid-19 but this was ridiculous. We booked this hotel from online information on this hotel. We needed to have the amentities that they offered BUT they were not available. We came in on motorcycles and expected the tavern to be open. They did not open it. They opened the pool but not the tavern, seriously come on now. The complimentary breakfast was a lunch bag with a danish, fruit cup and muffin. You did get to choose a drink between chocolate milk or apple juice. I get that they wanted to be safe but when you are paying for something I expect to get what I am paying for. If they could not provide this they should have it on their website. They did put a Covid-19 newsletter, why not put it on that. But no they would rather just fill the reservation and mislead you. When checking in the assistant was not very welcoming. She seemed to be in a bad mood, like she did not want to be there. The only thing that I can give a positive remark to was my sister and I went to the spa. Thank you Julie and Katefor doing a great job. I have stayed in four hotels in north conway and I must say there was nothing grand about this one. I should have read the reviews before reserving this hotel. Disappointed for sure. Doris Read less

It was nice and quite. Had a couple of refrigorators and a microwave with small sink. Comfortable room but the bed was a bit hard. Not much give and the pillows were way to soft for us. The pool was nice and warm and the outdoor pool with fire pit was a little cooler but warm also. More people outdoors than indoors. The breakfast buffet was OK. They had all the breakfast staples both cold and hot. We also at supper at the inhouse restaurant and both had burges whith onion rings. Bergers were huge and perfecty cooded for us Medium Rare. A bit exspencive but food was good. We stay there ofter and its the same everytime. Consistant. Read less

For the price of this hotel, we were expecting more and didn't get it. Room was average in space. Reserved a king size bed, ended up with 2 queens. Was directly accross from the elevator with running yelling kids. Went to go to the sauna after skiing all day, "Out of order" on the sauna and 2 of the bathroom stalls.

We checked in and it took well over a half hour, the women must have been new because she had no idea what she was doing. The hotel's location is great but it needs an upgrade. Certain parts are starting to look very shabby. The kids loved the outdoor pool in winter so that was a big hit. I don't think we would stay again there are much nicer… Read more
