This was our 5th or 6th stay at White Mountain Hotel & Resort. We've never had a bad trip. The fact that they are investing so much in the property to update all the rooms, restaurant, bar, and lobby now shows how much they care about their guests. Every employee we chatted with truly seemed to love their job and it shows! The rooms are clean and bright, the beds are very comfortable, and the included breakfast is miles above "free hotel" breakfasts. The location is great, out of the way of the busy main street but close enough to drive to any of the great activities or restaurants the area has to offer. The views of all the mountains are amazing, and almost make you not realize how great their grounds are maintained! The heated pool, new hot tub, new sauna, fire pit, and outdoor areas are great to wind down at night. We've been coming here for 7+ years and will continue to do so! Read less

We have come to this hotel multiple times, it's our go to base for any New Hampshire based activities- easy to get to local skiing or Bretton woods, close to hiking trails, exploring North Conway. Pool, jacuzzi and golf course are in great shape. Will be back !

We’ve stayed at this hotel before and returned while they were renovating. Despite the extensive work being done, everyone was welcoming and had their process down, including in the temporary dining area. The breakfast was outstanding and our beautiful room was spotless. Highly recommended.

Everything was great except the barking dogs. Seems like people like to go down to the lounge and leave their dogs in the room. Was on the 2nd floor and had dogs barking in the room. Unacceptable, I felt bad for the couple that had a small child that wouldn't sleep because if it. 3 separate rooms complained several time with no result until a worker was walking by and heard it themselves. He told us he'd take care of it and he did. We dealt with this for several hours before he came by. Also a large dog was on the couch in the lobby taking up the whole couch where no one could sit. This is a beautiful resort with renovations being done. I love dogs and had them my whole life but Dogs should not be allowed. 4th visit coming in June, only had this problem once. Hope we don't encounter it again because we love this resort especially at Christmas time. Read less

Almost perfect except for the people in the adjoining room waking us up at 4:30am. They weren't particularly loud, it's just that the adjoining door almost seemed to magnify their voices.
