1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge

Brooklyn, New York

The hotel

There’s more than a ‘nod to nature’ at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge – it’s eco-friendly to its very core, from your room’s organic bedding to the nature-inspired children’s activities, daily Lobby Farmstand, use of reclaimed barn wood, and local artisanal products at the picnic-style restaurant. Style doesn’t suffer for sustainability, with features like corrugated leather headboards, gritty blackened steel, crate-style slatted closets, and a pop-up beer garden all giving the hotel a cool and contemporary edge. And they haven’t sacrificed those urban hotel essentials either, so you get complimentary WiFi, the Bamford Haybarn Spa, and a free shuttle into Manhattan (in a Tesla electric vehicle naturally) – although you could just stroll over nearby Brooklyn Bridge instead. But it’s the social buzz and views that make this place special, with the best enjoyed while sipping handcrafted cocktails on the rooftop pool terrace.

Image of the Tripadvisor rating Wonderful Stay and Very Covid Friendly

My husband and I had a great experience staying here. Our initial room had some issues with the outlets so they immediately moved us to a different (and better) room. Great customer service! The hotel was covid friendly and I never worried about too many people in elevators or in the gym. Would 100% stay again and recommend to friends!

decent hotel, stayed here because i stayed at the 1 hotel in Miami. they are dog friendly which was a plus for me. centrally located in Brooklyn. the rooms are a little thing, benji (my dog) barked from time to time because of the noise.

I called the hotel (347-696-2500) on 2/10/2021 in the morning and waited several minutes for the operator to pick-up. I asked to be connected with the concierge because I had questions on where to eat with the hotel restaurant closed because of Covid. The concierge did not answer and the voicemail was full – cutting me off. I called the hotel back and after 10 minutes of waiting for someone to answer the phone I was disconnected; so I sent an email to the hotel asking for the concierge to email me with a time that we can talk on the phone. The concierge emailed me a few hours later with a phone number (347-696-2556). I called and was able to leave a message. My call was not returned that day or the next. When I tried to access my reservation on the Hotel 1 website, it repeatedly said “Oops. We cannot access your reservation at this time, please try again in a few moments.” I cancelled my upcoming two night reservation by phone. Read less

Timothy M. is amazing! If I could give him more than 100 stars I would! I lost something important in the room which made me anxious and he worked with me in a calm way to ensure that we will find the item. He also personally went to FedEx to ship it for me!! What more could I ask for? Thank you again Tim and I will always remember this
