Great location, friendly staff, smaller size rooms (but who stays in their room when in NYC?) Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent but needs to be extended past 9 am on weekdays. We brought out three kids to the Hyatt House Chelsea for their first trip to New York. The location was very convenient. The front desk staff was very sweet. The room was a corner unit on the 2nd floor with floor to ceiling windows which was a really cool view of the city. It was roomy for a room in NYV. I would absolutely stay here again.

This property clearly needs some repairs. The reception staff is also repeatedly disinterested and unhelpful

We visited for the city experience. The location was great! Close to Times Square, restaurants, and shopping. The staff were very nice and helpful! Breakfast was good, nice variety. I visited with my 12 and 26 year old sons.

Thief was able to enter my room. General manager said not his fault. Denys my claim even when I provide description of thief as I saw him enter my room and leave after noticing I was inside. Says door lock record doesn’t match what I say but can’t provide security camera footage to back up claim. Instead I was charged 100 for early checkout when I moved to a safer hotel. Talked to Hyatt customer service and was ghosted. Read less
