We had an impromptu stay in NYC due to a lost flight connection. We found a room at the Walker Hotel and were very impressed especially at the friendliness of their staff. Alexis, from the front desk, checked us in, found a room where we would be more comfortable traveling as a family, and was kind enough to let us know there would be a parade the next day so we should make plans accordingly since streets were going to be closed to traffic. She was also the sweetest with my daughters. The hotels location is great, we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. The room was on the small side but as expected in NYC and it fit all 4 of us comfortably. We'll be staying there in the future for sure. Read less

Neither shower nor sink drained properly. Nothing worse than standing in shower water over your feet. Staff was nonresponsive to complaint. Not to mention they made no effort to locate an item we left in room.

Charming Hotel in Greenwich Village with the best staff!! Personal but professional. Great location! Rooms are cozy, dining was fresh and tasty. I totally felt at home and will be back the next time!
