It is good hotel, but not five-stars hotel. I stayed there twice before, while it was called Conrad. A great location for MSG and for Met Opera. Central Park is close. Great coffee(Nespresso) and tea! Nice rooms, great gym. No pool, so Spa. The most annoying thing -I couldn’t get a refrigerator. I had to take off some things from mini-bar(if you… Read more

Great coffee(Nespresso) and tea! Nice rooms, great gym. No pool, so Spa. The most annoying thing -I couldn’t get a refrigerator. I had to take off some things from mini-bar(if you do this, speak to the front desk when you check out-they will dismiss attempted minibar charges). I stayed with Amex Platinum program, which gives you daily credits for breakfast. It wasn’t reflected in the final bill. It was correo when I pointed their attention to this oversight. Good, very good. But it isn’t Plaza or Mandarin… Read less

We rang ahead and asked about trips. We were told just speak to the concierge when you get here. We got there and since Marriott hotels took over no concierge. Staff were nice and friendly. We were there from Monday to Friday. We had tea making facilities but did not get any tea bags till Thursday. We booked as a couple but only one dressing gown and one pair of slippers. Ok when we asked we got them but why are we chasing them up? It does not live up to its name as Luxury hotel. Our room was excellent and staff were nice but it’s the little things that make a stay great. Read less

Luxury all the way! Took the family for a 3 day weekend and this property is perfect. Now apart of the Marriott family! Centrally located in the heart of the city we are able to walk everywhere and the staff was fantastic! We are already planning a return trip for the fall!

I'm a lifetime platinum member currently staying at this hotel. I honestly don't know how anyone could leave a negative review - this hotel is AMAZING. Maria at the front desk upgraded us to an amazing suite on the 38th floor without me asking for anything. And Paul at the bar is just so welcoming and hospitable. Nice hotel stay marred by the hotel team mischarging something I did not eat and incorrectly charging things for room service. Called them up and was told to just email a manager to no avail. Be wary of how they handle their destination charge
