The room was lovely but I had to ask for items to be replenished. The staff were quite aloof and we were presented with a bill at the end of our stay despite all charges being included on booking. As I said the room was lovely and we paid a lot for the holiday but would not stay at this hotel again. I booked this holiday almost a year before going and it was supposed to be special as it was my husbands birthday whilst there. I had asked the hotel for a high floor with two rooms close by as my brother and sister in law were with us. We were seven floors apart !! Ironing board was broken and felt that I needed to report this immediately as I did not want to be charged for something that was not my fault. Read less

Exceptional stay! Almost changed the reservation based on a couple of negative reviews and so glad we stayed with the Conrad. Room was exactly what we reserved, everyone was extremely friendly, great housekeeping. Excellent location. Only tried the late night room service, which was fast and very good. Highly recommend.

This was certainly the nicest NYC property that we have stayed at during our visits, as we took advantage of a couple of Hilton certificates. Having spent one night at a mid-range property, it felt pretty glorious to move into the Conrad where we had a King suite. We’ve only stayed at one other Conrad (Tokyo – which we felt was a bit more elegant), but this was certainly an extremely comfortable hotel. The location is simply spectacular, just a few blocks from Central Park, Broadway theatres, and so much else. The room itself was sparkling clean with a very comfortable bed. The thing I most liked about it was just how dark it was at night. At too many hotels, I find myself covering various LED lights and other nuisances so that I can better sleep. I simply didn’t have to do that here, which was wonderful. The staff was just OK. I only say that because I think you should really notice great service at a luxury hotel. Here, the service was totally fine, but nothing extraordinary. Read less

Doormen make you feel like a celebrity, front of desk staff smiley, positive and professional at all times. Room was immaculate and spacious with class and design, as well as every extra you could need. White wine glasses, red wine glasses, fully stocked fridge and Nespresso pods as well as much more. The most perfect bathroom, huge shower and dimming mood lighting. Breakfast was brilliant, server was chatty friendly and smiley, and happy to share local knowledge, exactly what you want to wake up to in a busy city. Would recommend to anyone travelling to the city in any capacity and wanting a 5 star experience. Read less
