We chose the location. But there is no hotel slippers in the hotel. You should bring slippers with you. There is no drinking water in the room. European plug converter is sold for a fee. no fee was requested in other hotels. The air conditioner in the room is very loud and even though we are on the 16th floor, there is a lot of noise. Stayed a weeknight for $230. The hotel was fine - the room was small and clean. The rooms were a little tired. Some of the lighting didn’t work although I didn’t report it. I was also incorrectly charged an extra 50$ after I left, which I had to get fixed. The location is great for midtown - you can walk everywhere - and the staff was nice. … Read more

I wouldn’t be super excited to stay here again, but I wouldn’t not return either. When you check in, I would ask for a room away from the elevator because otherwise you’re consistently hearing the whirring and dinging. Read less

Courtyard New York Manhattan/Central Park is integrated with the Marriott Residence Inn New York Manhattan/Central Park. In reality they are the same building with just different room setups on different floors. All facilities are shared, including the address, lobby, fitness center and 4th floor lounge/breakfast area. The only noticeable distinction between the two is the separate elevator banks in the lobby. The 1717 Broadway entrance is closed; the real address and entry is just around the corner at 231 W. 54th Street. Not a problem. The hotel is well-located between Columbus Circle/Central Park (15 minute walk to the north) and Times Square (10 minutes to the south). This is a busy, clean area surrounded by many food options in all price ranges, but I found that on the 55th street side of the same block as the hotel there were a number of smaller eateries worth exploring. The hotel was clean and well-maintained. A minor inconvenience with the bathtub drain was quickly resolved, and I never encountered any noticeable elevator delays over our four day stay. Covid- Mask usage everywhere in the building was very consistent. The 4th floor Starbucks and food area were no longer setting out a breakfast buffet, instead it was configured as “Grab and Go” although many were still choosing to ‘grab and stay’ to eat in the nice open lounge areas. Our King Corner room was compact, but still larger then many rooms in Manhattan. There was room to lay out two suitcases, but was surprised to find there were no folding suitcase stands provided. Not really a complaint, but I will observe that paying for a “corner” room may lead to disappointment. Although the main wall window is large, our adjacent "corner" window was maybe 2-3 foot wide and only looked out at the balcony of the next room. Read less

Bed sheets were with blood stains. Called to change they brought us more dirty one! - with brown-black stains (if you know what we mean). Then third time they brought clean one and we changed by ourselves as housekeeping did not work. During the change, we find urin stain (most probably) on mattress! Disaster!!! Then third time they brought clean one and we changed by ourselves as housekeeping did not work. During the change, we find urin stain (most probably) on mattress! Disaster!!! Reception knew everything and we sent email the same night, nobody ever contact us -to apologize or to check is everything ok now etc. That night reception offered us to move in another room but with five suitcases and unpacked toiletries it was too much to do that in the middle of the night. Only good thing are bellboys, really nice guys. If you book this hotel, double check everything (towels were dirty as well). We are attaching pictures to see all of that. Read less

This is an excellent option when visiting New York City. Just a few blocks from both Times Square and Central Park. This is wonderful hotel. Clean and well managed. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable on all thing NYC. The jewel of this hotel is the 4th floor lobby. Not sure under non-corona conditions but currently it is open for drink and small bites on the weekend evenings and each morning for snacks, breakfast and Starbucks. Area is open 24 hours so a great place to relax and watch some tv after a busy day touring the city. Many subway stops within a block to take uptown or downtown. the rooms are tight but that is to be expected and not unusual for the city. I would highly recommend this hotel. Read less
