I literally can't say enough about how he was hands on in making our dining experience exceptional. The entire hotel staff from Shae at the front desk to the GM William Gibson were exceptional and made me feel at home. All were very welcoming and very professional. . This was my 1st visit but will not be my last. I am looking forward to my next stay. Hats off to Mr, Gibson, he is running a Superb operation at this hotel.

They assured me they’d take care of it as soon as possible, but nothing happened. The worst part? After asking for the third time, the staff at the front desk argued with me, saying they had no record of my request. No apology, no empathy for a customer who had to throw out all her child’s food because it spoiled without a fridge. What a joke! I paid way more than I would’ve at other hotels, expecting decent service, and I can’t believe this is what I got.

This was my fourth stay at Fairfield Penn Station. You can’t beat the location! It’s across the street from Moynihan Train Hall. All of my visits have included buffet breakfast in the price. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. They do not charge resort fees common among NYC hotels. That being said, the hotel has been disappointing my last two visits. The lobby area is worn and showing wear. Only two of the three elevators were operational making for long waits or hikes up and down the stairs. There is no check-in before 4:00 regardless if the room is ready. Sometimes they offer early check-in for a fee. This wasn’t an option this visit. The lobby becomes chaotic around 4:00 when everyone appears to check-in. This also causes elevator challenges with long waits. The breakfast staff is welcoming and friendly, the desk staff not as much.

Nice Time for All

Awesome location, next to Penn Station and MSG., which was especially nice since our train arrived at 3AM. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel porter has an encyclopedic memory and brings luggage in the blink of an eye with a smile. Lots to select from for the included breakfast. Everyone loved the fresh coffee.
