Stayed here for five nights including Thanksgiving. Room on fifth floor was clean and tidy. Well suited for the two of us. Breakfast was included and was a buffet style which suits most people. Paper plates and plastic cutlery were adequate after an initial shock. Free tea coffee and chocolate in the foyer was great when returning each night.… Read more

Room: standard Fairfield room thats been recently refreshed. Larger than many nyc rooms. Nice! Breakfast: wow! First rate. Fitness center: ummm. Disappointing, but at least there is one. Location: 20 minute walk to Broadway shows, across street from Penn Station.

After spending the day with friends, I was informed that this property would not be able to honor the first night of my reservation due to an overbooking situation. I was initially angry about this and concerned about what I was going to need to do. When I arrived, they had booked me at a property close-by, paid for that night's stay, Uber-ed me both directions and reduced my room rate for the second night, gave me a significant amount of additional Marriott reward points, and gave me an upgrade to a suite. Gustavo was most helpful in resolving this situation and as a result I would definitely choose to stay here again. Great location, close to the Javits Center as well as Madison Square Garden and the A,C,E subway lines. Breakfast was very good with lots of both hot and cold options. Read less

We chose this hotel because we are Marriott Bonvoy members and it was close to our meeting at Hudson Yards. When we arrived in our room it had to be 85 degrees in there. We chose this hotel because we are Marriott Bonvoy members and it was close to our meeting at Hudson Yards. When we arrived in our room it had to be 85 degrees in there. We tried to cool it down by turning on the AC, but the AC didn't work. We went down to the desk, and the attendant said "if the temperature outside is 55 degrees or below, the AC does not work. Just turn off the thermostat". We did, but it didn't work so thank goodness the window could be cracked. That helped a little, but then we heard all the NYC sirens and noises all night. When we asked others in the elevator while we were there, they all said it was very hot in their rooms. (and to note, the temp was 50-60 the two days we were there). The front desk said they would send up an Engineer, but all he did was close the window so when we arrived in our room again, it was miserably hot. If it it is 50-60 degrees out, and when your room is on the 20th floor, we should be able to put AC on to make it a comfortable temperature in the room. This experience for two days was in no way worth 612.00. Read less
