I spent one night in the Fitzpatrick and had a great experience. I stayed in the Presidential Suite which was everything I hoped it would be - spacious, clean, and well-appointed. I was greeted warmly by the staff; check-in/ check-out was efficient; no complaints at all.

The Fitzpatrick had a fantastic staff- very attentive and accommodating. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a suite, which was wonderful. We will definitely come back again. This hotel is in a great location.

The room was very nice and well appointed except for the ultra cheap coffee maker in the room. For us business travellers who get up before room service starts, this is an important feature. Only one packet of coffee for one cup- really not good. Also, as one who always books hotels (2 or 3 times a week) through Hotels.com, I was surprised to have to pay $15 for internet access. This is the only hotel this year where I've experienced this. When I complained at the desk upon checkout I got a lame excuse blaming hotels.com - no offer to take it off the bill. It was the hotel that charged me, not hotels.com and it was up to that guy to let it go or lose a customer. I told this guy how often I stay in New York too. Guess where I'm not staying in the future. Read less

A very friendly Irish styled hotel. Relaxed reception and welcome. Very spacious room. Evening meal was a very tasty burger with a good range of mainstream, but tasty beers. A very friendly Irish styled hotel. Relaxed reception and welcome. Very spacious room. Evening meal was a very tasty burger with a good range of mainstream, but tasty beers. Breakfast was the best I've had in Manhattan. I asked for a strong pot of tea with my Irish Breakfast and actually got it. Bacon, white and black pudding were all good quality (though good sausages still eluded the plate). Despite the lack of a good Irish sausage or two, the breakfast was a great taste of home! (I normally eat US food when in US, but I was only in town for a day :+) Read less
