Fitzpatrick Manhattan

Midtown, New York

The hotel

Irish charm a-plenty is what you get at the Fitzpatrick Manhattan. You don’t have to come from the emerald isle, however, to enjoy the airy rooms, personal touches and Irish food. The Fitz is your very own place to enjoy some pub-grub, Ireland-style, and a pint of that famous black stuff. Just around the corner from Bloomingdales, Central Park on the doorstep, and St Patrick’s Cathedral nearby — it’s safe to say you’ll be in a fine location to get exploring in a New York minute.

I was lucky enough to find the Fitzpatrick on my last visit to NYC. What a gem. This hotel is conveniently located midtown, just two blocks away from Bloomingdale's, countless restaurants and cafes and subway stations to take you anywhere you may want to go. I stayed here for about 10 nights and it really felt like home. The staff is friendly and kind, especially GM Chris O'Sullivan who will go out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and happy with your stay. They also offer fresh hot coffee every morning in the lobby, which is a lovely touch. Kathy, Carmen and even Vesa who cleaned my room to perfection everyday were absolute delights. No question I'll be coming back here, and I honestly can't wait. This place feels like home!! Read less

What a great find! The employees couldn't have been any nicer. Very comfortable room & bed. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. Centrally located to subway and shops. Can't wait to return!!!

Want to thank the two front desk staff working Tuesday August 17th at around 8pm. Both ladies (Marie and Carie?? Sorry forgot your names!) were absolutely wonderful. Also the hotel itself was great. Would recommend.

Wonderful service! The front desk staff is incredible, and housekeeping was full service and prompt. Wonderful service! The front desk staff is incredible, and housekeeping was full service and prompt. If you want a minimalist hotel this is not the place - decor is traditional - but if you'd like to experience Irish hospitality (the manager has a fabulous accent) this is the place. And the price is a bargain for NYC. Decor is bright and immaculate. The manager asked if we would prefer a quieter room (we were traveling as a family) and upgraded us to a courtyard room instead of the street, which was wonderful. I have already booked my next trip to stay here. (For reference, pre-covid, we stayed at the Hyatt on 45th near Broadway, which apparently no longer exists. Fitzpatrick is much cleaner, brighter, and nicer staff) Read less

My husband was in the hospital for an extended stay and one of the things that saved my sanity during this difficult time was the Fitzpatrick. A wonderful find not too far from the hospital. The rooms are clean, the staff friendly and accommodating. A lovely place to call my home away from home during a difficult time!
