And that is what we got! + location just few steps away from Times Square + room was spacious + spacious walk-in shower + polite staff Breakfast is ok, bread, muffins, eggs, yoghurt cereal etc. Coffee was good and staff cleaning tables quickly. Nothing special, but a good start for a day. Bed was comfy, but a bit dated. Room was cleaned everyday. Ask for a room away from elevator. Our room at 28th floor had a nice view with Empire State Building Read less

Shanay was this first smile I saw when I was there in NYC. She gave me some ideas for new places to enjoy. She is a Native New Yorker which helped ease my worry about not knowing the city. She really cared about my experience. I’ll be back! This location was great.

Quick one-night stay for Cherry Wonderdog at the Hampton Inn Manhattan/Times Square Central. Even though prices in NYC are through the roof, what we paid (in points) at this hotel was quite reasonable compared to everything else. We walked here from Penn Station and had no security concerns whatsoever. Check-in was quick if not a bit robotic. Our room on the 28th floor had a nice view and even a window that opened to the outside. (It was limited to the width of a guinea pig to prevent injury or death). Plumbing worked well, and the Hilton standard bed was comfortable. The only issue was electrical – all the outlets on one side of the bed were inoperable as were all the USB connections in the room. The hotel actually compensated us a bit for this inconvenience. There was a nice outdoor look-out point a few floors above us, and the lobby downstairs was comfortable for those waiting for Ubers. Breakfast was the typical humdrum Hampton processed inedible grub, but at least it was included. There were a few water stations downstairs (one with orange slices) that made for a nice touch. All in all, a very good hotel in Times Square. Read less

The rooms are quite roomy by Manhattan standards LOL. The included breakfast has a great selection of hot and cold food and the staff in the breakfast room was constantly cleaning the area and helping guests. Overall the entire hotel was spotless which to me is the most important thing. The location perfect! A short walk to Penn, MSG, Grand Central and in the heart of Times Square and all the restaurants, shows, stores etc. Read less

I haf an issue with the reservation and I dealt originally with Shane. He was understanding and patient, however when I called back the rep at that time gave completely different information which was incorrect. I then called and spoke to Quinashia, the supervisor. She was awesome. She is the best customer service person I have dealt with in years. Not an understatement. She listened, didn't interrupt and took full responsibility. In addition she stated she would talk and train the person would made the error. Just so amazing at her approach and resolution to everything because in these times none of these customer service reps In the industry care anymore. Breakfast was great..great food choices at NO additional charge (rare). You do get a discount on parking. I do wish they have valet but still a discount is helpful. Just a great place to stay and feel at home. I didn't love the beds and that was my only complaint, however I have trouble sleeping anyway but I didn't feel the beds were extremely comfortable.
